Dark Rebellion: "Who... are you?"
(Y/N) stood there both curious and concerned. Her mind was racing with questions why two of the four Dimensional Dragons were aware of her presence. Not to mention speaking with her. It did concern her quite a bit that she was catching the attention of these creatures. She did wonder if a conversation between her and Dark Rebellion would be the same as her conversation with Odd-Eyes. (Y/N) shook her head, clearing those thoughts from her mind. This was something she was going to have to worry about later.
Yuzu and the others were stunned from what they had just witnessed. This stranger, who came out of nowhere, who challenged Sylvio in Yuzu's place, had just done something that they never expected. The game of Duel Monsters has been around for a very long time, but the Extra Deck summoning methods were relatively new in the scope of history. Only a handful of duel schools taught the subject. And even then, only the top-ranking students could qualify to take those classes, much like how the Leo Institute of Dueling.
Yuzu: "An Xyz summon... I can't believe it."
Bartholomew: "Incredible... He actually summoned a monster from the Extra Deck."
Steven: "He's an Xyz user!?"
Jacob: "But that can't be. Xyz summoning is a curriculum that only LID's top class can take! Who the hell is this guy?"
The smoke from Rebellion Dragon's emergence began to fade. The masked stranger stood still and strong, his eyes never once leaving sight of Sylvio. For him, all he did was give his opponent a sarcastic golf clap. In truth, he was taken slightly aback that this random nobody was able to pull off such a move. However, his arrogance was getting the better of him again. All he saw was his previous play of nothing but spells and traps.
Sylvio: "I will admit, that was very impressive, Mr. Mystery. But this changes nothing. A monster's strength is determined by its attack points. So do the math. Your Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon has twenty-FIVE hundred points while my Mobius the Mega Monarch has twenty-EIGHT hundred attack points."
Yuzu's worry began to grow even more. Sure, she was quite surprised that he was able to perform an Xyz summon, but Sylvio did have a point. His dragon was weaker than Sylvio's monster. Her eyes darted back and forth, her mind trying to devise how this could possibly work out for the stranger's favor. She then shifted her attention to (Y/N). If there was a way for her to know how things were going, it would be by observing her, and her natural ability to read duels.
It was nothing like she had ever seen. They way she dueled against her, and how she saw (Y/N) duel against Yuya. Every move appeared to be calculated. Always able to stay two, maybe even three steps ahead of her opponent. If she was being honest, it was like seeing a professional circuit duelist at work. When Yuzu looked at (Y/N)'s face, she saw the calm in her eyes, the neutral tone to her face. Judging from her earlier comments, it seemed like she was just waiting for the inevitable to happen. For some reason, that comforted her.
Sylvio: "Your Xyz summoning was nothing more than a bluff. A pathetic waste of my time. Now, your Rebellion Dragon is about to get the royal treatment."
Stranger: "And your time is running out. Because you're wrong."
Sylvio: "What?"
Stranger: "An Xyz monster's true power doesn't reside in its attack points. It resides in something else entirely."
Sylvio: "I don't need a lecture about Xyz summoning, but fine, I'll take the bait. Where is it?"
Stranger: "It's true power lies in its Overlay Units. The combined souls of those monsters are used to fuel the will to destroy the enemy."
