All her life, (Y/N) struggled with the concept of feelings. She just felt... Incomplete, but not sure as to why. One day when she was younger, she discovered the game of Yu-Gi-Oh! and its anime. The show that introduced her to this wonderful world w...
Hello and welcome to the second part of Trade Bait. Now, as true to any Reader Insert stories with ARC-V, I'm having you go against Sylvio. I wanted to take a moment to point out that I am changing the effects of card or two to make them a bit more effective than their pure anime effects. Just because those effects are HIGHLY situational. You'll know at least the change in one of the cards if you pay attention. Without further ado, let's get to the chapter~!
And here we are! The stage had been set, the duelists were locked with each other, and it was time for their battle to begin. Yuya was running towards the tower in the hopes of finding a way to get Yuzu and the children down from their dangerous height. (Y/N) had managed to reel Sylvio into a duel against her rather than with Yuya in order to give him the chance he needed. Sylvio sent a look to his henchmen standing up on the roof of a building next to them. He nodded his head in the direction of where Yuya went. The three goons understood what he meant leaving he and (Y/N) alone to battle.
(Y/N)/Sylvio: "DUEL!"
Life Points: 4000
Computer: "ACTION CARDS: DISPEARSED..."
(Y/N): "I hope you don't mind, but ladies first!"
She said, as she took a look at her starting hand. It consisted of Future Visions, Fortune Lady Wind, Magic Cylinder, Fortune Lady Earth, and Fortune Lady Dark. Not exactly the best of hands to start with, but certainly not the worst either. Besides, if her opponent stayed true to the show, then all she had to worry about at the moment was the monster he was going to draw next turn. She smirked as she picked up her first card.
(Y/N): "I'll start things off by summoning by Fortune Lady Wind to the field in attack mode."

Fortune Lady Wind: ATK/?
Sylvio: "Hold on. What's up with your monster's attack points? They're unknown."
(Y/N): "Oh? And here I thought you were the among the elite of LID."
Sylvio: "What was THAT?!"
(Y/N): "Allow me to teach you a lesson. Fortune Lady Wind's attack points are based on the number of levels she has multiplied by three hundred. When she's summoned to the field, her level is already at three.
Fortune Lady Wind: ATK/? → 900
Wind: "Need a lift?"
(Y/N): "Yes, please. Take me over to the riverbank by the tower."
