(A/N: I'm having too much fun with these headers XD)
[Yuya's POV]
I got off the floor of my bedroom, although slowly. I had a bit of a headache from falling on my head. I sat up against the frame of my bed letting it pass. Once it did, I looked over to my nightstand and saw my necklace laying in the same spot I put it in last night. I reached over and grabbed it. It dangled in my grasp spinning around and around gently due to physics and all that. It was always nice to watch though. It reminded me of my dad, like when I saw him in my dream.
Yuya: 'The most awesomest duel I ever fought, and it was all just a dream. On the other hand, my Pendulum summoning is real, and I'm happy that I can do it no problem. I may not be the champion yet, but as long as I can keep entertaining people, then I'll always be a winner. Just like my dad.'
My attention went from my necklace over to my cards. I set the necklace back down where I grabbed it and reached over to my deck box. Holding it almost seemed like it gave me more strength. I opened the lid and took out my deck placing it on my bed. My cards were spread out showing all the Pendulum cards that I had. I was really happy to have Pendulum cards like these. It almost felt like Dad was watching over me or something.
Yuya: 'I do want to become the greatest Dueltainer ever, but to do that, then I just got to believe in my deck and myself. You and (Y/N) taught me that lesson, Dad. And it's something that I'll never forget. I promise.'
I smiled at that thought as I was holding onto my Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician. My thoughts drifted over to how my new friend would get along with my dad. They'd probably set along swimmingly no doubt. That train of thought was interrupted by something catching my attention in the corner of my eye. I look over to see what it was, and low and behold, I saw the corner to a card sticking out from underneath one of my other cards.
I reached over carefully to see what this card was. I pulled it up, and thankfully, it was my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. My ace monster and most trusted card. He means so much to me, ever since I first got him as a kid. Thinking back on it, it almost seemed like almost appeared out of thin air. One day, I didn't have it. Then the next day comes, and Odd-Eyes Dragon was there with the rest of my cards. However, ever since my match with Ishijima, he's now called Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. I looked at the art appreciating how cool my dragon looked. That's when I noticed something. It almost seemed like Odd-Eyes was... staring back.
???: '...Master...'
As soon as I heard that voice in my head, it began to pound. Flashes of my memories appeared in my eyes. Memories of my dream last night, and of something else. The dark world I found myself in after Sora kicked off of me, (Y/N) vanishing and reappearing from the shadows, and then the worst part. That weird, giant, shadowy bird rising out of the ground. Its cry echoed in my ears again to the point it was deafening. Then flashes of a girl in burgundy red hair with her back turned to me. Then me looking into a mirror looking just like I did during the last part of my dream with my eyes stained with tears. The full moon bathed in red. I panted as I fell back to the ground. My heart was racing in my chest and my hands were shaking again. The only thing that I could picture in my head after that were (Y/N)'s eyes... and that strange mark on her arm.
Yuya: 'Why... Why is part of me scared of that thing? Scared of (Y/N)?'
I closed my eyes and took in a few deep breaths. Just like I was taught to do by my mom when I was younger. I pushed away those images and the fear that they brought into the back of my mind. It was just a strange nightmare and nothing more. None of it was real. My heart calmed down in my chest and the shaking in my hands stopped. I got back up again and decided that a shower would help me calm down the rest of the way. A somewhat cold shower.
