Todoroki POV

The next morning, I was up before my siblings, so I decide to go down and eat breakfast. I was just finishing my breakfast when Fuyumi came down.

"What's the special occasion," Fuyumi questions.

"I strangely want to go to school today so I can meet Midoriya, the boy that has been helping me with my homework." I explain putting my bowl in the sink.

"I'll be back, I need to finish up my morning routine," I say leaving the kitchen.

"Okay, don't take too long," she shouts as I run up the stairs.

I head upstairs and into my bathroom. I grab my brush from the draw under the sink, I keep my hair short enough that it doesn't tangle that often but its still long enough that it can cover my burn scar. I brush my hair, so the different colors are separated. Once my hair was done, I move onto doing my eye drops. After I do the drops, I wait for my eyesight to be less burry before I grab my school bag and head back downstairs.

I head into the kitchen and see both my siblings eating breakfast.

"Good morning Shoto, sleep well?" Questions Natsuo.

"Yeah, no nightmares," I say.

"That's always good," he grins.

"Yeah," I reply.

I watch as the train pull out of the station. Natsuo has a later start today so he isn't riding the train with us this morning.

"Hey, Fuyumi can you check over my homework one more time," I ask.

"Shoto, I checked it over before we left and every day after you finish it, I promise it looks perfect," she states with a smile.

I still wanted to check to make sure I had everything. I found all the pages I was looking for except two of my English sheets. I start to freak out and rummaging through my bag however I stop when I saw the yearbook. I pull it out and flip to the picture of Midoriya and the dog. I run my finger along the dogs' coat as if I could feel it. I put the yearbook away and return to recounting my papers and there was the right amount this time. I took a deep breath and closed my bag as the train came into our stop.

I went up the mountain with Fuyumi by my side. When we got to the spot there was still no Midoriya. Then a voice pulls me out of my thoughts.

"Are you Shoto Todoroki?" The voice asks.

I nod and look up to see my home room teacher Mr. Aizawa.

"Well nice to meet you, I assume you have been getting the homework," he inquires.

"Yes," I say just above a whisper.

I pull all the work out of my bag and hand it to him.

"I am impressed. You are a very hard worker Todoroki. But you know the work will get harder," Mr. Aizawa explains

"I know. Also, I have a question, I say a bit louder than the last time

"What is it," he responds.

"Is Izuku Midoriya in your class?" I ask.

"He is but he won't be here this morning his dad called to say he will be coming in late" Mr. Aizawa says lifting his visor to get a better look at me. "Would you like me to take you to home room?" He asks.

A sudden urge to leave washes over me. I shake my head and run down the mountain.

Fuyumi starts to run after me. I hear Mr. Aizawa holler, "Just so you know if he doesn't come on Monday he will be expelled."
