Todoroki POV

As promised Natsuo was asleep next to me when I wake up. I sit up and stretch before gently shaking Natsuo's shoulder.

"Is everything okay Shoto?" He asks.

"Yeah, everything is fine. I just woke up, let's start getting ready for school," I say.

"Alright, go grab your eye drops and I'll help you before I go," he yawns.

I nod heading into the bathroom to grab the eye drops. I see the bag from the pharmacy and pick it up. It is my new drops that we were discussing yesterday. Fuyumi must have pick them up after work yesterday. A part of my brain knows I need the new drops. I know they will help my eye more then my old ones, they'll also help with the pain and the repetitive, uncontrolled shaking. However, another part of my brain is struggling with it. I've had my current drops now for just over six months, and I don't want to replace them. I know how they feel going into my eye, I know how they affect my eye. I know how long they last. I know how much to use for good and bad days. They are part of a routine I don't want to change. Everything I'm trying to convince myself is to avoid a massive episode. I look back at my refection in the mirror and see tears running down my cheek. I put my new drops in my drawer and slap it shut. Before wiping my tear with the back of my hand, I grab my old drops and head back into my room and hand drops over to Natsuo.

"These are your old ones. Where are the new ones from Dr. Nurko?" He probes.

"I'm not ready," I say.

"Fine, but you have till Monday before we need to start using them understood?" he presses.

"Understood," I sigh.

I lay down on my bed and allow Natsuo to put the drops into my eye. The drops sting a bit going in but it is most likely from the tears. Natsuo helps me sit up before sitting down in front of me.

"Are you okay to get dressed on your own today?" He asks.

"I should be fine. I'll call you if I need help," I say getting up to grab my uniform.

"Alright, I will see you downstairs. I'll get sis to get you a glass of milk for breakfast. I know last night was hard, so I won't push our luck with solid food," he smiles then leaves to get himself ready for college.

I go into the bathroom putting my drops away then I brush my hair before I begin to put my uniform on. I look over at my bookshelf as I get ready, looking at all the pictures Midoriya has sent me of the dogs. Seeing the pictures there cheers me up and immediately places me in a good mood. Once I finish, I grab my phone and head downstairs where my siblings are waiting.

"How are you doing Shoto, I heard about the nightmare so if you don't want to talk about it, I understand?" Fuyumi asks as I take my normal seat at the table.

"I'm fine now." I say reassuring my sister.

"That's good, I'm glad Natsuo was able to help." She smiles.

We are halfway through breakfast when our father came stomping down the stairs. He came into the kitchen ignoring Fuyumi coming straight towards me. He slams his fiery hands down onto the table in front of me.

"What was all that ruckus last night. I must go to work today, and you kept me up for over an hour," he shouts.

"I'm sorry sir," I say.

"You better be, and be ready for training when I get home," he shouts again.

"Yes sir," I say but it was too quiet for his liking.

He slaps me across the face, "speak up when you are talking. You sound like a weak child when you do that," he growls.

Tears start forming in the corner of my eye, but I refuse to cry in front of father because crying equals weakness and weakness equals more training, and more training equals more burns.
