Todoroki POV

We follow Mercy back into the farmyard. Hisashi going back into the house while Midoriya and I go towards the kennels.

"I don't really know much about the elf quirk, do you?" I ask.

"Not much, but I can tell what I do know."

"Sure."

"Not many people know this but, you know the big forest a couple hours from the here in Nagano?"

"Yeah, I've driven by it a few times."

"That's where 90% of the elven population live. There are probably 40 or 50 families that live there."

"Wow, I never knew that quirk was so widespread. I only ever meet one other person with that quirk, I was in the same class as her for elementary, she was blind."

"Yep, everyone with the elf quirk losses one of their senses. Some are blind or deaf like Tauriel, but elves can also loss their taste like Legolas, or their senses of touch like Mr. Sindarin."

"Is the quirk pasted down or is random who gets it?"

"The elf quirk is very unique where you can only be born with it if someone in your family has that quirk, so it's kind of like a family trait."

"That makes sense. Fuyumi tells me it's the same for our ice quirks only people from my mom's family can poses this quirk."

"Yeah, they have a pretty cool quirk, but they live quiet lives so that's all I know about them.

"No that's alright, so you said you needed to set something up for Christina?"

"Yeah, she has a group of kids coming, we just need to grab some brushes and a bag of treats and that's about it."

"Alright let's get started."

"Sure, but first let's let Winter have a little snack."

We walk into the kennels and to the back corner where Snowflake is. She and the puppies are staying in a bigger kennel, so the pups have more room to move around and explore. Midoriya opens the door for me, and I gently place Winter near the rest of her sibling by Snowflake belly. After I put Winter down, she howls at me in protest.

"It's alright Winter. I'll be back soon."

Once I'm out of the kennel Midoriya and I head to the gear room where most of the stuff is stored. Midoriya hands me a basket full of different brushes for the dogs. Midoriya also grabs a bag a bacon bites. I follow him to one of the classrooms, we place our stuff down then he turns to me.

"Now comes the hard part, moving all of the desks."

We both start in the center of the room moving the desks in the corners, so the center of the room is clear for Christina's group.

"So, what are Christina's classes like?"

"Well, there not exactly classes, more like therapy sessions. Most of the kids don't have the best life and often shy away from people. So, Christina started this program so the kids could have a safe place to be around others that are in similar situation as them, and as a bonus play with amazing dogs."

"That sounds incredible."

"Tell you what, when the group gets here why don't you and Winter go sit with them for a while."

"Really?"

"Of course, I'll let Christina know you want to sit in."

"So, what's next?"

He has his back turned to me and reaches for something in one of the cabinets. He turns around with a big blanket in his hand.

"We need to go set up the brushes outside."
