I feel love for the very first time..

Me and my friends walked out of our classroom. Well it is because it's already lunch break. "Let's go to the front school garden now!" Shirley said. Everyone agreed, I mean of course we planned this. We planned to have a lunch picnic at the front school garden. "It's a great idea to go outside and eat our lunch together, a picnic!" I said. "I know right? Sometime, we could go somewhere else to have picnic." Kathy said. "Or we could go to a beach and have a beach party!" Jessica shouted. "I guess we could do hat sometime." Mary agreed. Eventually, we reached the front school garden. Linda H., took out the picnic blanket and arranged it on the grassy land. Then we, took our foods and arranged them on the blanket. We settled everything to have a comfortable lunch break picnic here. "We are not the only ones who are here to eat their lunch." Linda H. said. "Yeah." I agreed.

"We are done!" Kathy said. She mean't about us arranging the picnic area. The weather is great for its a bit windy. The picnic blanket is placed on the clean green grass, the foods are arranged, everything is settled! We sat on the picnic blanket. "Let's start eating up!" Jessica said as she took one pizza from the box. We started eating and talking to each other. Seconds later, David arrived. I looked at him. "Hey guys and ladies." David greeted. "Hey David!" Everyone greeted but me. I just smiled. "Hey bro, come join us!" Jason said as he pat a space beside him. "Is it okay with you guys?" David asked. "Yeah, totally fine come on!" Kathy said. David walked towards Jason and sat beside him. I went silent. "Hey Julianna! Aren't you going to say hi to David?" Kimberly teased. Everyone laughed. I slowly turned my head and looked at David. I felt awkward after yesterday. It's because that I thought of him? I don't know, I'm confused. "Hey, uhm, David." I said. "Hey Julianna." David smiled. 'Hey, thank you for the food last night. It was very delicious and very thoughtful of you to bring food for me" I thanked him. "No worries Julianna, after all it was a 'Get-well-soon' gift" David smiled. I smiled back. "It was really delicious." I said. "Glad you liked it." David winked at me. I smiled. "Damn, Julianna! No wonder you look different!" Steven said. "What?" I was confused. "I think you're inspired." Kathy continued. "Of course I am inspired. You're not a person when you don't have an inspiration." I glanced at them. "What they mean't was that you're in love" Jessica laughed. "What? No!" I defended. Well, they said I looked different because I'm wearing shorts and a blazer. All my jeans were wet, I forgot to put them on the dryer so I decided to wear my half-knee length shorts. "Hey, all my jeans are wet that's why I'm wearing shorts!" I shouted. "Hmm." Everyone smirked as they looked that they didn't believed me. "You look gorgeous Julianna" David smiled. "Ayy, Julianna. David likes you!' Jessica teased. everyone laughed. I felt my cheeks turning red. "No." I looked away. I felt very awkward so.. "Let me take something from my bag" I said as I stood up and walked about 5 meters away from our picnic area. I opened my bag and took my phone. I walked back towards our picnic area. Suddenly I slipped, my knees landed on the grass with little rocks. I slipped because I didn't notice that there's a wood in the way. My friends stood up and ran towards me. "Are you okay Julianna?" Mary asked. "Julianna, you're wounded." Kathy said. I looked at my right knee and yes, it is wounded. "It's just a scratch" I smiled. "Julianna! Let me take care of your wound." David said as he quickly took something from his bag.

"Here's a bandage and some iodine to help your wound." David said as he walked towards me. "Wow David, are you a boy scout?" Kathy's eyes widen. "I bring these in case for an emergency and now, this is definite an emergency." David said. They helped me stood up and move to the picnic area. They assisted me to sit on the picnic blanket. David sat beside me fast and took my right leg. "Hey.." I said. "Don't worry, I'll just put some iodine and bandage for you." David said. I looked at him. He started to put some iodine on my wounded knee. "Ouch!" I said as I held his hand hard. "Just relax okay?" David said. I nodded. He continued putting iodine on my wound. I looked at him, he's so caring you know? He's such a gentleman, a good take carer? Or whatever if there's a word "carer" anyway. My heart beat fast as I look at him taking care of me. I smiled. "Hey are you smiling?" Shirley teased. My eyes widen and took the smile off my face. "No." I answered. "You were!" Shirley laughed. I felt my cheeks turning red again. Why do I feel weird right now? When David is around, there's something else. I mean, there's a feeling, a good feeling about him. My heart beats fast and hard when he's with me. David is such a sweet, kind, smart and handsome person. Look, I'm deep thinking again. I think this weird feeling right now, I think is is what they called love. I feel love for the very first time in my life.

"Are you alright now?" David said as he laced bandage on my wound. "I am now, thank you." I smiled at him. "No worries. I told you before, I'm your shining armor." David smiled. "Hey, remember that we are here? Don't make love here. Go make it somewhere else like a room!" Jessica teased. "Hey what the fuck Jessica!" I shouted. Everyone laughed.

School bell rings for the afternoon session.

Me and my friends walked towards our room. I'm silent. "Hey, what's wrong?" Mary asked. "What? Nothing." I smiled. "Is it about your knee being wounded?" Linda H said. "Sort off." I smirked. "I mean guys, I have something to tell you before we go in the classroom." I said. We all stop walking. "Guys, how do you know if you are in love?" I asked. Their eyes widen. "Well, you have this spark.." Kathy answered. "Is it a weird feeling?" I asked. "Yes, something like that. But you feel good when you feel this spark." Kathy continued. "And when you're happy with the guy. I mean if he makes you happy so much." Jessica said. My eyes widen. David do makes me happy and I do feel this shitty feeling. "Guys, I think.." I tried to say. "I think I feel love for David." I said. My friends shouted of happiness. "First time of being in love?" Kathy laughed. "Its your first time? Woah!" Justin said as if he can't believe that its my first time feeling this. "Yes, it is my first time. I don't know what to do. Is this a bad thing?" I asked. "No, its a wonderful feeling Julia." Mary smiled. "I do, love him." I said. "Our Julianna Greyhams is in love!" They all shouted in one line. "To whom?" David said as he suddenly bumped in. My eyes widen, so as my friends. "Uhm.." I said. "To his father!" Jessica laughed. We laughed also. "Its nothing David." I forced smiling at him. "Oh." David said as his smile faded away. "I'm going in the classroom okay? See ya!" David said as he walked away and waved at us. We all waved back at him. "You almost got.." Kathy said. "I know. Guys, don't tell anyone okay? Promise" I said. "Yes we promise." They all said in one line.
