Chapter 21- Family dinner

I slowly opened my eyes to see Hailey laying on my chest sleeping soundly. I moved the hair that fell from her face thinking how the hell did I get so lucky with this girl. But my thoughts were cut short when she started to stir meaning she was waking up. "What time is it?" She asked. I turned my head to look at the clock. "Its 7 pm." I answered and her eyes widened. "Shit. The dinner is starting in half an hour." She panicked getting up from the bed and scrambling to the bathroom while I just laughed watching her hurry around to get ready on time. "What are you laughing at?" She asked glaring at me from the doorway of the bathroom. "You are panicking to much, relax. We will be downstairs on time. Its not like we are going to god damn Africa for dinner." I said calming my laughter. She just rolled her eyes closing the bathroom door. If we weren't in a rush she would get it for doing that.

About 15 minutes after she came out wrapped in a towel and went to the closet to get dressed and I went straight to the bathroom so that I couldn't get distracted by her and we stay here the whole night. I did my bussiness and went back to our room seeing that Hailey was already all dressed up and ready. "How did you get ready this fast?" I asked astonished. "Sorry not sorry I don't want to be late for your mothers dinner." She shrugged and I just shook my head chuckling. I also went to our closet to get ready and after a few minutes I was done. "Can we go now?" Hailey asked impatiently. "Yes we can. Chill." I answered and took her hand in mine.

With that we made our way downstairs to the dining room. Once we arrived Kai and Aria were already seated as well as my father who was at the head of the table. "See we are not late paranoid woman." I said and she rolled her eyes continuing her way towards where we are meant to seat and that is on the right side of my father. "Where are everyone else?" I asked as we sat down. "Your mother is in the kitchen helping the cooks and Nicholas is late as always. He went to pick up Aurora." My father answered. "I can only guess why they are late." Kai commented chuckling. "Yeah they are probably fucking in the car." Aria said nonchalantly sipping on the water she had. "Remind me to never sit in his car." Hailey commented and we all chuckled before indulging each in their own conversation.

The girls were talking about something while my father, Kai and me talked about some bussiness related things. A few minutes later Nicholas and Aurora entered and came to the dining room. "We are sorry we are late." Nicholas apologized as they made their way to the table to take a seat. They sat down next to Hailey. "Damn Rori was the sex that good that you made it late?" Aria asked and Aurora blushed. "Oh come on now don't get shy with us." Hailey teased nudging her arm playfully. "You can stop with the teasing you know." Aurora said rolling her eyes. "Oh come on you know we love you, don't get mad at us." Hailey said in a baby voice pinching her cheek to which Nicholas smacked her hand away making me glare at him. When he saw this he just gulped in fear before diverting his attention back to Hailey.

"Don't touch my girlfriend." He said glaring at Hailey. "Ohhh sorry big boy did I make you cry because I touched your girlfriend?" Hailey mocked him making me chuckle. Yeah she doesn't need protection at all. I know she can handle herself. The fight between the two continued until my mom came to the dining room stopping it. "That's enough bickering kids its time to eat." She said as maids came behind her serving the food. Of course the two fighting cats stopped finally making it peaceful at the table. As we all started eating we also fell into light chatter which turned into the whole table loudly talking and laughing.

As the desert time came I decided that I am bored and will tease my beautiful girlfriend who was indulged into the conversation with Aurora and Aria. Bad mistake I made there.
