Federicos POV
I drove back home, still a bit shocked that she used me in that way. Allthough I will admit I liked it even though she didn’t want me beside her after. It helped me to minimize the pain that I felt this year. It also made me realize there is hope for us after all. I know Hailey and I know she wouldn’t just do this if she didn’t feel something. Even if it's just hate sex that can easily be changed into love again.
“Did she forgive you?” Silvio asked as soon as I entered the living room where he, Kai, and Nicholas were. “Not yet, but we are getting there.” I said with a small smile, breaking out on my face. “Ewww you fucked.” Nicholas said scrunching his face in disgust. “Wha- How the fuck do you know?” I asked. “Bitch please you look like you are on cloud 9 and she didn’t forgive you which means…” Kai answered as I took a seat on an armchair across from him. “It doesn’t matter anyway she kicked me out.”
I said, and there was nothing but silence for a minute, but then all 3 of them started maniacaly laughing. “What is so funny stupid dicks?” I asked them. “Yo she fucked you and then kicked you out. That’s tipiccaly a you move not a girl move.” Kai said calming down. “ Oi fuck off what would you do if you were me? You would start crying. Oh my god, Aria, please take me back. I am a whiny baby.” I said in a crying voice and was hit by a pillow that Kai threw at me all the while Nicholas and Silvio were already on the floor laughing their asses off. “Well what can I say she is a tough nut to crack.” Silvio said after they all stopped laughing. “I know, but I will crack her.” I said with confidence. “ I know you will. You love eachother you just need time to reconnect.” He said words of encouragement . “I hope so.” I answered.
After a few minutes of comfortable silence, a maid came and said that the dinner was ready. We all made our way to the dining room and had a peaceful meal with occasional chatter. A little bit after that, I went to my room and laid on the bed exhausted from todays events. The last thought on my mind was that I couldn't wait to wake up and see Hailey. Bceause I know she will come to work tomorrow, and I can continue my mission of getting her back.
Haileys POV
The morning came very fast, although i didn't want it to come. Morning means i am going to work, and going to work means i will see him. Get it together Hailey you are stronger than this. Who gives fuck about that damn traitor? With those thoughts making me feel a little better i got up and started the day. After finishing the usual stuff in the bathroom and getting dressed, i decided that i would not cowar from him and do the usual thing i do every morning, and that is going for breakfast at Silvios house. It is our routine to have breakfast together every morning, and i will not break it just because some idiot from my past came. A very handsome idiot. Fuck that! I am going and nothing is going to stop me. Except of course a very excited Adonis waiting for me by the door.
„Okay baby, you are going to the mansion with me today.“ I said grabbing the leash. Sometimes, I take him to the compound so he can run around and hang out with other dogs. After putting the leash on him, I made my way to the car and opened the back doors for Adonis to hop in. The streets were pretty empty because it was still quite early. I came to the mansion very fast. I breathed a deep breath in before entering the mansion.
Adonis was left with the guards so they could take him to Silvios dogs. I made my way straight to the dining room, knowing they had already started breakfast, and the three bozos were already seated. Just like I said, that was what I saw when I entered. Silvio at the head of the table, Federico on his left, Kai and Nicholas next to him. Of course, the right side next to Silvio was open for me. „Good morning, everyone.“ I said, bringing the attention to me. „Hailey OMG!“ Nicholas yelled and got up, taking me in a bone crushing hug, making me pause a second in a shock before returning the hug. Kai also joined in, so we were group hugging. They are not mad at me?
„You are not mad at me?“ I asked, my eyes filling with tears. I missed those bozos. „No why would we? You are our little sister.“ Kai said, breaking the hug. „Really?“ I asked. „Yes really.“ Nicholas said with a smile. „I am so glad you two are not mad at me.“ I said, smiling back. „And where is my sister from another mister?“ I asked, thinking of Aria. „Oh about her. She is at home very pregnant with our first child.“ Kai answered proudly. „Oh my God! A baby! Condatulations!“ I said hapilly, hugging Kai. „ I am going to be an aunt.“ I exclaimed with happiness. „How far along is she?“ I asked. „4 months. And before you ask, we dont know the gender. We are keeping it a surprise.“ Kai answered. „Thats all lovely, but will you sit down so we can eat?“ Silvio asked, irritated. He is always like this in the morning.
We all sat down, and of course, I was across from Federico, who couldn't take his eyes off me. I decided to ignore him and started to eat. „And how about you, Nicholas? Did something interesting happen?“ I asked, distratcting myself from Federicos' burning gaze. „Aurora and i got married a month ago.“ He answered with a wide smile. „I am so happy for you she is such a nice girl.“ I answered also smiling. „Yeah I love her more than life itself.“ He answered, making me melt. „Awww you are so cute.“ I said, and he chuckled. We continued to eat with Federico being the creep and not taking his eye off me. The silence felt sufocating, so i hurried to finish breakfast.
After we were all done, Silvio said that we could chill for half an hour and he would wait for us in the office. I went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water because Federicos gaze made me sewating like a pig. While i had my back turned to the doors, i felt someone wrap their hand around my waist. Heh, someone. I know exactly who it is. The one and only Federico. I tried to pry his hands away from me, but he wouldn't budge, holding me with an iron grip. At one moment, I just stopped resisting because i realize it is pointless.
„There you go. See how you can stop resisting like good girl you are.“ He whispered, making me a little dizzy at his praise. He ran his hand through my hair and moved it to the other side, making the left side of my neck open to him. He leaned down, just breathing in my scent. „I missed you so much. I can't get enough of you.“ He said, placing gentle kisses along my neck. „Federico.“ I breathed out, not knowing exactly what to say because my mind went hazy. „Hm?“ He hummed, not stopping. My knees started growing weak as he found my sweet spot.
Thank god my phone started ringing, showing Silvios name. I answered, and Federico didn't stop until i elbowed him. „Come to my office.“ Silvio said. „Okay we will be there.“ I answered and ended the call. „Cmon Silvio called for us.“ I said, not looking at Federicos' eyes. „He saved you for now, but we will finish this later.“ Federico said with confidence. „Yeah right.“ I scoffed, leaving the kitchen with him right behind me. „Thats not what you said last night.“ He said, and I stopped in my tracks, almost able to feel the smirk on his face. But i decided to ignore him and continue my way to Silvios office. Federico is making me melt a bit every day, and i dont like it at all.
The tension is building up.
Will Hailey let go and be with Federico again?
Or will something bad happen again?
