Chapter 33- Coma

Federicos POV

"NO!" I yelled out in desperation. Hailey fell back by the impact of the shot. I quickly went over behind her to hold her and she doesnt fall on the ground. I coruched down with her body cradled in my arms. "Hailey! Wake up!" I yelled as she kept closing her eyes barely managing to keep them open. I ripped my shirt and wrapped the clot over her wound so I stop the bleeding as much as I can. "Hold on baby for me please." I begged as tears started gathering in my eyes. She cant leave me. I just got her back.

"I forgive you." She barely managed to croak out putting her weak hand on my cheek. "No no no! Hailey wake up!" I said slapping her cheek a bit. No response. "Call an ambulance!" I yelled to whoever was besides me and started cpr on her. Every push lasted like decades for me until the ambulance arrived. "Sir you have to let us work." Someone tried prying me off. "No!" I yelled fighting back until Kai pulled me off hugging me. "She will be okay let them help her." He said calming me a bit. I followed the ambulance in a car and kept an eye on her the whole time they rolled her through the hospital. But they stopped me when I tried to enter the operation room. "You better let me in or I will make sure to burn your whole fucking hospital while you are in it." I threatened until Nicholas pulled me back. "Dont listen to him just do your job." The doctors nodded and scurried away to the operation room. "And you calm down a bit please." He said making me sit down and wait for the news. Because that was all I could do now.

Later...

It has been 3 hours. 3 damn hours without anyone telling me anything about my girl. We were all distressed, Silvio looked like shit beacuse he loves Hailey like a little sister. We just hoped for the best. After another 20 minutes of waiting a doctor finally came out. "The surgery was very complicated and the bullet damaged one small portion of the heart. But she will be able to survive with that damage. At least we hope she will." He finished and I took my gun out. "What do you mean we hope? Will she or will she not?" I asked stepping closer ready to shot. "She is in a coma. We dont know if she will wake up or not." He said pailing at the sight of the gun. Kai took the gun away from me. "Okay doc can we see her?" He asked. "Yes. You can see her now." He answered and scurried away from us.

We entered her room and saw her laying down tubed attached to her looking pale and lifeless. "Oh my god my sorelina." Silvio exclaimed sobbing like a little kid. He made his way to her and took her hand in his. "What have I done." He cried coruching on his knees next to her. "I made the stupid plan its my fault she is here now." He continued putting his head on the bed. "It is your fault I told you multiple times not to do it yet you still did it." I said coldly. Suddenly someone pushed me back. It was Kai. "Federico go cool off and stop being a dick towards everyone before Hailey wakes up. She wouldnt like to see you like this." He said taking me out of the room. "Fuck off." I said before storming out to my car. I just sat there trying to calm myself and then to go back to her room.

A few hours later...

After a few hours of just sitting in my car I decided to return to the hospital and her room. Only Nicholas was there and I assume those two went home to eat and get changed. "You can go gome and take a rest I will be here." I said to Nicholas. "Okay but you should do the same soon you look like shit." He said putting a hand on my shoulder before leaving. Like hell will I leave this room one more time. That aint gonna happen. I sat on the armchair next to her bed holding her soft hand in mine. "Please wake up amore mio." I cant live without you. If you die I will go with you." I said as a lone tear fell down my cheek.

Hailey is in a critical condition.
Will she be able to make it through?
