Chapter 25- Goodbye

Federicos POV

I woke up early this morning to a very much asleep Hailey. Deciding that I will not disturb her and let her rest I went to the kitchen to grab something to eat because I was immensely hungry. Since it was early Kai  and Aria were still sleeping and the house was peacefull with just the maids and staff running around. In the midst of my breakfast somebody rang the doorbell and a maid went to open the door. A few minutes later she came into the kitchen.

“Sir a courier brought this for you.” She said handing me a big envelop. With furrowed brows I took it and thanked the maid. Opening the envelop and taking the contents out my heart literally stopped beating for a second. I looked at the pictures and sadness that I felt turned into boiling rage.

“Go wake Hailey up and tell her to come to my office RIGHT THIS SECOND!” I yelled at a maid and she scurried upstairs shaking. I went to my office slamming the door and sitting behind my desk. My hands were shaking in rage. All I could see was red. A few minutes later Hailey entered. “Federico whats wrong love?” She asked as she calmly sat down in front of me. “I will tell you whats wrong.” I said throwing the pictures in front of her. On the pictures was she with another man. In a bar, in a restaurant, in a park and even in bed.

“You cheated on me you filthy disgusting whore!” I yelled making her flinch. Her face paled as she looked at the photos. “Federico this is not me.” She said looking directly into my eyes.Even now she is lying like a filthy dog. “No its my dead grandmother.” I said. “I swear to god this is some photoshop shit.” She defended herself with tears streaming down her face. “HOW DARE YOU STILL LIE AFTER YOU GOT CAUGHT!?” I asked slamming my fist on the table. “Why don’t you fucking trust me you know I would never cheat on you or lie to you! THIS IS NOT ME!” She yelled back. “Why wouldn’t you lie when you lied to me enough times already!?” I asked. “Because I wouldn’t lie about shit like this!” She answered. I had enough of hearing her lies so I decided to let her go. She broke me and hurt me deeply.

“You know what? You have 1 hour to pack your shit and leave this house. I don’t ever want to see you again.” I said coldly. “Gladly.” She said as she threw the pictures back on the desk and stormed out of my office. At that moment Kai and Aria entered looking cofused. Great. Just what I needed. “What did just happen?” Aria asked. I wasn’t in the right state of mind to answer and just kept staring at the floor. How could she? Was I not enough? I gave her everything and she still decided to cheat on me. What a naïve fool I was.

“This cant be possible.” Kai said as he looked at the pictures. “Federico are you okay ?” Aria asked with concern in her eyes. I just nodded my head. “Let me speak to him. You go and see Hailey.” Kai sad to Aria and she left leaving the 2 of us in my office. “This doesn’t seem like her.” He said as I just kept quiet. “Look. Lets check if they are photoshoped. I will take them to our hackers and they will find out the truth. Because I just cant believe she would do something  like this to you.” He said and I just nodded not answering. He can check but I know that she cheated on me. Its over.

Haileys POV

I cant believe he actually thinks those are real. I have been packing my suitcase while bawling my eyes out. I never cheated on him and love him with my whole heart. Yes I know its hard to believe when he has pictures but we live in 21st century. Technology is amazing and can do even more amazing sutff. A knock on my door pulled me out of my thoughts.

“Come in.” I said weakly. “Why would you fucking do that to my brother huh?” Aria asked entering and slamming the door behind her. “You know how much he loves you and you still have the audacity.” She said crossing her arms over her chest. “I swear to god I didn’t do it. I love him so much it hurts.” I said as more tears streamed down my face. “But the photos.” She said. “They are fake. Didn’t you maybe think about that?” I asked as I zipped up my suitcase ready to leave forever.

“Where are you going with that?” Aria asked with wide eyes. “I don’t know. Your brother kicked me out.” I answered as I made my way out of my room and down the stairs. “Wait! Hailey don’t go I trust you!” Aria yelled behind me but I didn’t listen. He hurt me enough times already and I cant take it no more. I don’t have the strength to continue and try convincing him that I am not guilty. This is the end of our love story. As I opened the front door I turned around for a brief moment and saw Aria standing with tears in her eyes and Federico standing at the top of the staircase watching me with a cold look.

“Goodbye Aria.” I said as I got out and went straight to my car. Once I got in I sped out of the driveway wiping my tears away. I thought about going to my old apartment but I had to leave this city. A change will be good for me. So I went to the airport and bought a ticket to my new home. An hour later I was boarded and moving to my new life. Goodbye Federico. I will always love you.

Federicos POV

I watched Hailey leave and tried to force myself to not feel anything. Keyword tried. My heart ached even more when I saw her leave for the last time. Since then I sat locked in the office. Aria was convinced that the pictures were photoshoped  but we will see what our hackers will find. Although I know it wont be anything good. Those were not photoshoped and I was 100% sure. So here I am drowning myself in a glass of good old scotch.

“I think you will like to see this.” Kai said as he entered without knocking practically running inside with a bunch of papers in hand. “Don’t you know how to knock?” I asked irritated. “No you have to see this right now.” Kai said handing me the papers. I took the papers and what I saw broke me even more. The photos were in fact very much photoshoped. They even found the originals and those were exactly the pictures that I saw of Hailey and that man except  there was another woman next to him not my Hailey. My Hailey. I threw her out. I FUCKING THREW HER OUT.

“Kai find me Hailey right this second.” I said even though I didn’t know how to make up for this. I broke her so much. Called her a cheater while she loved me with her whole heart. How will I ever get her back. “Already on it.” He said before turning to leave. “And Federico you really are a stupid dick and you don’t deserve for her to get back to you.” He said before leaving my office. And I finally let the tears fall. I shakily picked up my phone and dialed her number hoping she will answer. It has been a few hours since she left she couldn’t get that far. But no it went straight to voicemail.

“Hailey, tesoro please come back to me I made a mistake I know you hate me right now but I cant live without you and I promise this will be my last mistake love just please get back to me. I need you. You are my everything. Please return home.” I pleaded over the voicemail with a shaky voice. “She is gone! They cant find her!” Aria yelled as she slammed the door open. Tears were streaming down her face. “How could you!?” She asked. “She left the fucking country because of you, you fucking bastard!” She yelled. “What!?” I yelled back getting up from my chair. “That’s right. The last the cameras have caught her are at the airport but we cant find the flight she boarded.” She explained and I felt my whole world crash. “Its time to let her go. You hurt her enough times already. Leave her be.” Aria said before leaving the office. I sat down and thought for a long time and she is right. I will not look for her. I caused enough damage and she will be better without me wherever she is. Goodbye Hailey. I will always love you.

And we came to the end of this story.

Just kidding. I wouldn’t  let them have a sad ending.
