Chapter 27- Meet again

Haileys POV

Silvio called me while I was in the gym, training. So right now I am on my way to his office. He called me because the guests have arrived. I opened the door to his office and came in, but as I placed my foot on the ground I saw a familiar pair of eyes looking at me. Federico.

What the fuck is he doing here? I looked at him and he looked just as shocked as I was. I turned my head and saw Kai and Nicholas sitting there to. The memories I tried so hard to suppress came flooding back. I bit back the tears that threathend to fall out.

"Ah there she is. This is my second in command. Hailey. The Shadow. But... I think you already know eachother." Silvio said smirking. Stupid son of a bitch. He did this on purpose. I just nodded and went to stand behind Silvio because I didn't want to sit next to Federico. Federico, Kai and Nicholas all looked at me shocked. Still not uttering a single word. "Well then we can start the meeting." Silvio said and started the business discussion.

I didn't listen and dozed off. Federico kept glancing at me and I just kept avoiding his eyes. "What do you think about this Hailey?" Silvio interupted my dozing of. "Yeah its great." I answered even though I didn't listen to a word he said. "Okay then, we will do it like that." He said finishing the meeting. Oh shit I didn't hear the plan. Silvio will just have to tell me after because his bitch ass decided to pull this shit on me. Inviting my ex without telling me. Asshole.

"You are free to go." He dismissed us. "And the maids will show you to your rooms." He added. Nicholas and Kai got up immediately but Federico hesitated a bit. In the end he also left the office leaving me to kill this fucking dipshit. So I slapped him on the face.

"You fucking prick! Why didn't you tell me!?" I yelled at him as he looked at me shocked. "Okay I deserved that." He said before continuing. "I want you to give him another chance." "What!?" I asked. "Well what would you do if you saw pictures of him cheating? All the trust would go out the window." He finished. "No! I would listen to him!" I answered. "No you wouldn't and you know it." Silvio said. And he was so right. "You know what? I don't have to listen to this fucking bullshit." I said before leaving his office and slamming the door. I need a drink.

Federicos POV

When I saw my favorite pair of eyes again I felt as though my heart stopped. She looked even more beautiful than when we parted our ways a year ago. I don't know if Silvio arranged this to happen, but if he didn't then this really is fate. And I am not letting her go. Fate or not. I maybe made a mistake by letting my Tesoro go but I will not repeat that. I didn't even listen to a thing Silvio said. Kai and Nicholas will tell me anyway.

Right now I am at the kitchen sipping on a glass of vodka to gather myself. As I was zoning out once again, she came in the kitchen. She ignored my presence going straight to the cupboard filled with alcohol. Now is my chance. "Hailey." I said. She just rolled her eyes pouring herself a glass of wine. "Baby please listen to me." I continued getting up from my seat. She just started going out of the kitchen completely tuning me out. So I went behind her and grabbed her wrist.

"Amore please just stop." I whispered desperately as I stood behind her still holding her wrist. I could smell her perfume which only heightened my addiction for her. "Please." I whispered again coming closer and nuzzling my face into her neck. I couldn't help myself. "I missed you so fucking much." I said kissing the side of her neck lightly. She just stood there not moving.

As I was about to wrap my arms around her she ripped herself from my grip. And I just watched her walk away. Once again I have let her go. But I wont allow for that to fucking happen again. So I quickly started following her. She sat at a couch in the living room and turned on the TV. I came over and unplugged it.

"You and me need to talk." I said running out of patience. "I have nothing to say to you mr. Mancini." She said getting up from the couch. Her sweet voice made me feel drunk even though her words were a poison to my heart. "You are just an ally that came here for work." She continued. "Is that how you explain the goosebumps on your skin when I touched you?" I asked coming closer. "I have nothing to say to you anymore." She said again but I saw her breathing getting heavier at our closeness. "Mhm." I said as I leaned in to kiss her. But she slapped me and ran out of the mansion. "I will get you back tesoro!" I yelled behind her. "One way or another." I muttered to myself.

Haileys POV

How the fuck does he dare? Trying to kiss me? After we broke up? I couldn't think about that right now so I went back home planning on drowning my sorrows in movies and chocolate. I drove my black Ferrari, yes I got another one, to my penthouse. I entered the garage elevator that took me to my home. As I entered my Doberman Adonis ran over to me almost knocking me down. I got him when I first moved here and he is a year old and very big.

"Hey bud." I said as I rubbed his head while he wagged his whole damn body. For such a scary looking dog he is a big cuddly baby. To me at least. He doesn't like other people very much. "Cmon lets feed you." I said as he barked and followed me to his bowl in the kitchen. I poured him food and he started eating as if he never ate. Hungry ass. While he was busy eating I went to my room and changed my clothes into something more comfortable. Once I was done I went back to my living room and played some random movie on the TV. Yet it didn't stop me from thinking about him.

Federicos POV

After Hailey stormed out of the house I returned to my drink in the kitchen. "Where is Hailey?" Silvio asked as he entered. "I don't know." I shrugged. Silvio sighed and sat beside me. "I will give you her address. She is probably in her penthouse." He said and I looked at him with a raised brow. "What? I was the one that called you here because I want to see her happy." He said sending me her address over a text. "Go for it tiger." He said patting me on the back before leaving. I looked at her address and wasted no time in going to her.

Federico is not giving up on Hailey.
Will she be able to forgive him?
Or is this all hopeless?
