"No please don't kill me." He begged with tears in his eyes. Oh how much I love when they beg. "Oh honey don't worry I wont kill you." I said watching his expression change from fear to relief. "Thank-" He said but I cut him of. "Uh uh you didn't let me finish. I wont kill you yet. I will torture you first." I saw his expression change to fear once again. As I raised my knife to stab him in the eye I heard voices and people coming in the building. "Too bad. Looks like I have to kill you fast." I said as I slit his throat making him choke a little before he died. I put on my hood back and jumped through the window carefully so they don't see me. I went towards to my black Ferrari which was parked behind the building.

After I got in I turned the engine on and it roared to life. I sped through the streets of New York towards my penthouse. After I parked my car in the garage I went upstairs to take a shower since my clothes were covered in blood. When I entered the bathroom I stripped out of my clothes and turned on the shower. As the hot water hit my skin I thought about another successful mission. With the amount of human traffickers I killed you would think there cant be any more of them but they are like rats, always coming more and more. After I finished with my shower I wrapped a towel around my body and headed towards my bedroom to grab some clean clothes. When I put them on I went straight to bed and let sleep consume me.
Federico's POV
"Why the hell is everybody slaughtered already?" I asked as I walked over the dead bodies all around the building. "I have no idea. I think there is somebody else who hunts them. You know this is not the first time this happens." My sister Aria said as she walked beside me. "Merda. (shit) Find me their boss immediately." I ordered through the earpiece. "Boss, he is already dead." My man answered. Whoever is behind these attacks is doing a great job but they are already starting to get on my nerves. They are always one step ahead and kill every gang we target on. "What are we going to do now Federico?" My right hand Kai asked. "Nothing. We are going back home. Clean this shit up." I ordered again through the earpiece. Kai, Aria and me left the building going towards my black Audi.

Once we entered I drove to our mansion still frustrated about another failed mission. When we arrived to the mansion I parked my car and headed to my office with Aria and Kai so we can discuss our next move. "Who could be doing this, fratello (brother) ?" Aria asked as she took a seat in front of my desk. "I have no idea and that is killing me." I answered pouring myself a glass of whiskey. "Actually... I didn't want to speak about this in the building, but..." Kai started. "But what? Parlare. (speak)" I ordered angrily. "I think I know who is doing this." He continued. "Well who?" I urged since my patience was running low. "When we arrived I saw a female figure leaving the building, she was wearing a hood but I noticed a specific serpent rose tattoo." "Will you get to the fucking point idiota?" I said impatiently. "There is an assassin called Shadow. Nobody knows how she looks but they know it's a female with a serpent rose tattoo on her arm. Luckily for us I saw the plates of her car and now we can locate her." He finished with a proud smile.

"That is genius Kai. I heard about her, she is very good. Track her down." I ordered. "What do you want us to do once we track her down?" "Offer her to work for us." I said smirking. "To work for us? Wow brother thats new." Aria said chuckling. "Well think about it. If we have her against us it will not be good, if we have her captive she will escape and murder us so the only thing that can benefit us is her as our ally. We need an assassin as strong as her on our team. Plus we have the same goal." I explained. "I don't think she will agree. Shadow is working alone always." Aria said concerned. "We will just have to make an offer she cant refuse. And you 2 will be the ones who will negotiate with her." I answered sipping on my whiskey. "Okay. I will locate her right this second. Tomorrow we can pay her a visit." Kai said. "Bene.(good)" I said smirking. I must admit I am very curious to know about Shadow more. What made her work alone? How is she such a good assassin? She is very intriguing.
Haileys POV
I woke up with the sun hitting my face since I forgot to close the curtains last night. When I looked at my phone I saw that its 8 am. Seriously? I just had to wake up that early. Grunting I headed towards the bathroom to do the usual morning stuff. As I closed the door and headed towards the sink I heard my front door open. I made sure to lock it last night and there isnt anybody who could visit me. Instantly I opened my cabinet where I keep a gun and a set of knives. I grabbed the gun and opened the door slowly, cautiously heading towards my living room. I hid behind a wall so I can have a clear sight on what is going on. I saw a blond man with blue eyes and a woman with long brown hair and light brown eyes.
Holding my gun up I headed further in the living room making them acknowledge my presence. They just raised their hands in the air looking at me. "Who the fuck are you and what are you doing in my penthouse uninvited?" I asked with anger in my voice. "Shadow it's a pleasure to meet you. Put the gun down so we can talk." The man said and I chuckled. "Now why would I do that?" I asked still holding my gun tightly. "Because we come in peace with a business offer." The woman said still not moving from her spot. A business offer? I lowered my gun and gestured for them to take a seat on the sofa. They did that and I sat on a sofa across from them. "What kind of business offer?" I asked raising my brow in suspicion. "Lets start by introducing ourselves. My name is Kai Thompson and this is Aria Mancini Thompson. She is the sister of Federico Mancini. I suppose you heard of him?" Federico Mancini, leader of the Italian mafia. Of course I heard of him. "Yes. And what do you want with me exactly?" I asked. "We admire your skills and we want you to work for us. We do have the same goal after all." Aria explained. "And why would I work for you? You do know I work alone." I said ready to decline their offer. "We know but for how long will you be able to live from the money you take from the robberies of your victims? We offer you 1 million dollars as monthly pay if you start working as an assassin for us. For that money you would also be working as logistic support in some of our missions. If you were to accept the job you would have to move to our mansion." Kai continued explaining. I must admit that it does sound nice to have a secure money recourse. "Fine. I accept it." I said after thinking it through. "Great. We will prepare a contract for you. Tomorrow we expect you to move to our mansion. This is the address." Kai said handing me a note with the address written on it. "Wait I didn't catch your name." Aria said as they got up from the sofa to leave. "Hailey. Hailey Williams." I said since we will be working together and they need to know my name. "Hailey. I have a feeling the 2 of us will get along great." Aria said smiling a bit. "I hope so." I said returning the gesture.
Federico's POV
"Good news brother she agreed to work for us." Aria said as she barged into my office without knocking. One thing I hate when people do. "Have you heard of knocking, sorella?(sister)" "Sorry, I am just excited that we will have another female assassin beside me. Plus she seems very cool." Aria continued with a happy tone. "I can only imagine." "She is not wrong. Her skills are wow. She heard us coming in and you know how quiet we are." Kai added. "Really?" I asked in shock. The 2 of them were never compromised when sneaking somewhere. She truly has skills. "Yes. She didn't hesitate to pull the gun on us." Kai said. "Plus she looks like a goddess. She could bring any man to his knees." Aria added. "I agree." Kai said and Aria slapped the back of his head. I chuckled a little. "What? I have eyes." "You do but don't forget that I am your wife and that I will poke out the same eyes." She answered smirking. "Come on she cant be that pretty." I said scoffing. "Just wait for tomorrow fratello and you will see. I can bet that you will start drooling over her the moment she enters your office." Aria teased. "You want to bet? Fine. 100 dollars." I said smirking. "Deal." She said returning the smirk. "God you act like children." Kai commented rolling his eyes.
