The Letter

*Kilyians POV*

I wake up to a pounding on the front door, I look over to Addie sleeping peacefully. I'm glad it didn't wake her up. I slide my hand out from under her head, careful not to wake her up. I pull on a pair of shorts and t-shirt before making my way down the stairs, opening the front door im met by Jack. “Alpha we have a problem, we got a letter addressed to the Luna at the pack house” he says handing me a folded up piece of paper.

I'm so glad I finally found where you went, I see you've finally found your mate as well. You can now fulfill the duties you were supposed to. I'll be coming for you soon and we can make arrangements. If you refuse we will have no choice but to forcefully remove you from your new pack and mate. We wouldn't want that now would we?

-Till we meet again-

I look down at the paper feeling anger course through my body “We have to find out who sent this” I say looking at Jack. “I know alpha. I thought maybe Adyna would know who it's from because it's addressed to her.” My beta responds. “I'll ask her when she wakes up and we can go from there.” i say making my way to the kitchen to start coffee for her, this is going to be a rough day i already know it.

I feel arms wrap around me “Good morning” she says muffled as her face is in my back. “Good morning love i made us coffee” i say turning around handing her a cup and kissing her forehead. “Thank you” she takes the cup with a smile. She takes a drink and makes her way to the couch. I follow close behind coffee and letter in hand. 

I sat down next to her “Jake found a letter addressed to you at the pack house, i need you to read it and see if you recognize who it is from so we can help you” i say handing her the folded up note. Her body tenses as she reads it looking down at it tears start to form in the eyes. “It's from my uncle, please don't let him take me please!” she says, dropping the letter and coffee on the table and wrapping her arms around me crying into my neck.

“I won't let him hurt you love no one in this pack will allow their luna to be harmed i promise” i say wrapping my arms around her. “Thank you” she whispers in my ear. “I promised to never hurt you and i don't intend on letting others hurt you either” i say rubbing her back. I can feel my wolf's anger throughout me. I mind link Jack with the new information “what pack are you from love” I ask quietly. “Blood Moon Pack” she says looking at me with tears staining her face. 

Of course the one pack we haven't been able to get a treaty argument with. I mind link Jack once again letting him know. “I'll figure this out love dont worry.” I say brushing away a few stray tears. I kissed her before picking her up and bringing her to our room. “Let's just cuddle up and watch some movies Jack is going to work on getting some more information.” I say laying her down. “Okay” she says snuggling into the covers. “I'll have our pack cook bring us some food” i say turing on the tv and hand her the remote climbing in next to her. 

She turns on a random movie before snuggling into my chest. I run my fingers through her hair as the movie starts. “I promise i'm gonna protect you” I say kissing the top of her head. “I know, I trust you” she says her eyes glued to the tv. I look at the tv, it’s Finding Dory, I guess she needed something comforting to relax. I wrap my arm under her and continue to play with her hair for the rest of the movie.

“Alpha, I have information on the pack and its Alpha or her uncle” Jack's voice rings through my head. “I'll meet you at the pack house in the morning. I'm comforting my mate, as you can imagine she is not doing well. I don't know all of what this man has done but she's traumatized” I respond. “Trust me when I say youll know a lot tomorrow” he responds and I cut off the link holding Adyna a little tighter. I guess I don't know as much as I thought I did about her.
