5) Getting used to a new life pt2

You finally made it to terminus, and saw rick and them with others so you ran to them and carl drew on you then realized who you were "Y/n..? you arent dead?" you shook your head and took judith out from underneath the blanket you had around you "Nor is she.." carl looked at you "what?" you heard tyreese "Y/n ill take her, you just need to help them." you nodded and handed judith to tyreese.

Helping some of them get over the fence and carl helping you over while you helped him over "What exactly are yall doing?" carl sighed "Trying to clear." you nodded and followed behind everyone.

Next thing you knew was yall were being chased and then you blacking out, and waking up into a cell type thingy. You sit up and look around seeing mostly everyone past out minus Glenn, Maggie, daryl and rick.

You hear them talking, and it sounds like they're making a plan. Maggie looks over at you "Mornin sunshine." "Morning. What happened?" maggie shrugged "What all do you remember?" you thought about it for a bit "I remember us being chased and then i blacked out?" maggie nodded "Yeah you fell and ended up hitting your head pretty hard.. Well we have a plan." you tilted your head confused "So we're gonna draw zombies in and you're gonna gut them, like we've done before and cover yourself and act like a zombie until every time you run into them. We want you to stab them alright?" you nodded and looked over on the other side, sighing you got up and stumbled "Guess i forgot how to stand too?" you laugh and rick, glenn, maggie and daryl laughed with you until someone banged on the cell like thingy door "KEEP IT DOWN!" and you all stopped laughing.

Couple hours later

Carl, Sasha, Abraham, and Roseitia finally woke up and yall told them the plan and maggie pulled you over "Carl is going to help, not that we dont trust that you could do it but rick figured it'd be better, also to help yall get close" she nudged you and you glared at her "I mean the more help the better." "That's the kind of attitude i like y/n" you nodded and sat down and she sat down beside you.  Once it was time for the plan to take action, carl came over to you and maggie and held his hand out "Come on." you took his hand and he helped you up. 

Once yall had gutted the zombies and covered yourselves in the guts it was time for the real plan to take action.  And so it did.  You and carl walked around, not too close but close enough to be able to see and hear eachother. 

The first two you took out were easy and carl looked at you, clearly happy about the way that went and then you heard yelled.   Carl grabbed your arm and pulled you to a corner where you and him could both hide. 

With the acceptance of him being ontop of you.  Carl held the sharpened piece of metal out ready to slice someone's throat or to stab them in the head or really anywhere to give you and him enough time to run.  The people walked past and took the zombies out that were feasting on the people you two just killed.

Carl lowerd his metal piece and got off of you "Sorry" you muffled your laugh "Its payback from when i fell on you to protect you from getting shot" he smiled at you "Come on we need to finish the plan."

And just as he said, yall finished the plan and took the clothes the people in the terminus had so yall weren't in the blood and guts that were on yalls original clothing.

You and carl started to look for the others but when yall went to leave one place but realized the door were locked and you couldnt unlock it from the inside.

Groaning you hit the door "Just my fucking luck." carl laughed "Am i that bad?" you looked at him "No you're tasty- wait im sorry that didnt make sense.." you looked away and carl blushed softly.

You sat on the floor and carl sat across from you "What was your life like before the whole apocalypse?" you sighed "Well, I went to school, had two older siblings (and if you dont have any ignore this), my parents fought but stayed together for "my sake" as they always said. I lived with my parents but one day we were out trying for find a group like yours but they got bit so i drove back to the place i knew best."

"Home.." you nodded and carl sighed "When did you kill them?" you tensed up and got up "This is the end of the conversation." Carl nodded "Sorry i went overboard.." "Yeah you did." and you went to bang on the door again but something beat you to it and you jumped back.

"Y/n?" carl popped around the corner "You okay?" you heard the zombies snarling "Yep just got scared thats all." carl came up behind you and pulled you close.

Pulling you into a hug. Yes you were shocked at first but hugged back.   Yall continued to hug for awhile, while the zombies were banging at the door. 

Carl lifted your chin up to look at him and looked at you and then looked at your lips and back at you, asking for permission and you nodded.  So he kissed you.

A soft and gentle but passionate kiss, you kissed back just as soft and passionate as him. He stopped to catch his breath and so did you. Soon he let go of you and backed up "My dad and them have to be somewhere near.." "yeah true.".

Right after carl said that, yall heard gunshots and then the doors slammed open and people running in. Shortly you realized it was the group after seeing rick hug carl and carl hugging rick back.

Maggie ran to you and checked you out, after she saw no cuts or anything, she sighed and pulled you into a hug "Thank god you're okay." you let out a light chuckle "Of course i am, i got the sheriff's kid with me." and she laughed "hug me back." and with that you hugged her back.

You all walked out of the place and left for the cabin where tyreese was with judith. On the way there you bumped into someone "damn. Im always bumping into people" carol laughed "Clearly." Rick looked up and saw her and daryl ran to her.

You looked at carl and mouthed "are they sleeping together?" carl shrugged and you nodded. All walking together, yall made it to the cabin where tyreese was and saw blood.

Without thinking about it you ran in and saw tyreese trying to calm down judith. "They're alive." everyone else walked in and tyreese handed you judith "Calm her, she wont calm down." you laughed and took her. Rocking her, hoping it would calm her and to your surpise it did.

"Nice job." carl said walking up behind you, patting your back and took judith. "I could've held her, she was calm." "Nah i got her, you need a break." you glared at carl "Carl, we both do then. You did the same things as me." Carl sighed and handed you judith "Happy?" and plucked your forehead "oh you little.." carl smiled and started running, you handed rick judith and ran after him.

After finally catching up to carl, you grabbed his flannel and pulled him to the ground and which in return he grabbed your arm and pulled you down with.

Landing on carl, he laughed and you glared at him. Getting up from off of him, you heard a twig snap and snapped your head towards it to only see maggie and the rest of the group.

You held your hand out for carl and he took it. "Thanks" you nodded "Well we're going this way" and with that being said, you and carl followed the rest of the group.

Pushing and shoving eachother, while walking carl ended up grabbing your wrist and pulling you close to make you stop. 

You continued to walk with him, but stared at him dumbfounded.  Not expecting his actions."Quit staring."  you quickly look away "I wasn't." he lets go of your wrist "Sure y/n." you could tell him tone was playful but acted hurt.

"You dont trust me?" he looked at you and then back ahead of him "No i do, it was meant to be funny.." you smile and pop the back of his head "I know" he glared at you and then looked back ahead of him.

Carl ran to rick and talked with him.   Maggie slowed down to stay behind with you "So you and carl have gotten flirty?" you glared at her "and you and glenn have gotten it on, hm?" she blushed and looked at glenn "Shut up." you smiled "Exactly, so dont talk about how me and carl have gotten "flirty"." maggie put her hands up in defense "Alright alright."

After days, maybe even months of being on the road, you found a barn while walking off a trail with daryl "Daryl?!" daryl moved from where he was smoking "hm?" you took the cigarette and put it out "Lets go back, i found a place.  We'll need it for tonight." he nodded and followed behind you.

Once yall made it to everyone it started storming "We need a pla-" "There's a barn" you said cutting rick off. "Where?" you motion for everyone to follow you and daryl.  So they do and yall make it to the barn.
