Jimin's POV 💫

The day slipped away while working with Lily, Heyon, and Nabi. Although we worked a little bit this morning on some backing tracks for Lily's album, the rest of the time was spent working on some ideas for my solo album. I love it when BH lets me contract work with these talented women; they come at the work so differently than my regular crew, that it makes recording feel new and exciting again. It's not that I don't love my team, but it's good to get out of my comfort zone once in a while. We finish up for the day, and I say my goodbyes to my friends and head over to Dallia's academy. I can hear her giggling with someone as I near her vocal room, so I retreat back a bit into the kitchenette area so I won't be seen.

"That is hilarious, Ye-Joon!" I hear Dallia laugh, and she sounds happy. Exhilarated even.

"Yes! I thought I was nailing that audition, and then all of a sudden my voice sounded like a fog horn," a male voice joyfully shares, and then he makes a noise that sounds like an out-of-tune trumpet evoking me to frown and scrunch up my nose. The man then starts belly laughing and making the sound a few more times.

"Stop! Stop! You are making me cry from laughing so much!" I hear Dallia exclaim. I've heard her giggle, but not laugh wholeheartedly like this before, and as much as the sound of her voice lifts my heart, I realize that I'm also...

Am I jealous right now?

"Good times!" the man giggles. "Okay, Dallia. Thanks for the lesson. I'm definitely going to be back next week. I'll have my father's assistant set it up.

"It's been a pleasure. Truly, Ye-Joon. I'm looking forward to it," she calls out, and then I hear footsteps proceed down the hall, and shortly after, the front door opens and then clicks close. I take a deep breath to compose myself and head to the vocal room.

"Knock, knock!" I call as I arrive.

Dallia greets me with a smile, "Jimin, hi! Thank you so much for coming to talk to me."

"Of course! It's my pleasure," I reply as I watch her brush her hand through her dark locks.

"Come into my office; I have a couch we can comfortably sit on and chat, instead of sitting on these hard stools," she offers, and I agree.

I follow her into a small room she has made into a quaint office, and I take in the tidy space that is well organized and decorated. She's placed a lush rug under her desk in blush colors and white-washed the walls with a new coat of paint. There are a few plants and a comfortable faux leather couch in a tan color dotted with a scattering of blush throw pillows. A large painting with a deep blue background features large hibiscus flowers hanging on the wall over the couch, pulls the room together.

"This is cute!" I utter as I look around at her little office. I don't know how to explain the feelings that her carefully curated office evokes in me except to think that the space feels -well, it just feels like Dallia, which instantly puts me at ease.

"Thanks! I like it!" she chuckles with a sweet dusting of pink rising on her cheeks. "So today was wild!

"I know! I was shocked to see you and Lily singing in her studio. Though I have to admit, I had a feeling she would suck you in at some point!" I laugh.

"Is she always so...so...."

"So, Lily?" I offer. "Yes, yes, she is!"

"I've never experienced anyone like her. I couldn't say no to her! She has so much...uh...I'm at loss for words...I don't even know how to describe it!" Dallia breathes out, sounding almost overwhelmed but with a smile dancing upon her lips. "She's hot, so hot...sorry. I'm getting a little carried away," I laugh.
