Jimin's POV 💫
It's been a few days since the ribbon cutting, and although I was shocked Lily brought Dallia to witness it, I'm glad she did. Even though I know nothing will materialize from the situation, I'm glad Dallia knows I built that center for her and Binna. She knows I love her, and nothing will ever take away from that. In fact, after months of anguish, I finally feel settled. It was like I got closure, and I can move on now. She knows my heart, and that's all I ever wanted.
"How's it going, Jimin?" Tae asks as he passes me in the hallway.
"Good! Just on my way to my workspace. I have work to do," I smile.
"Same, Hyung, same. I'll catch you later," he says and continues on his way.
I press the code on the door to my workspace, and when it swings open, all the air seems to sweep away from my lungs. There is Dallia standing in the say jumpsuit she wore to the company party I brought her to so many months ago, looking as beautiful as ever. Her silky hair gently falls around her shoulders, but the rest of the room shocks me.
Everywhere she has placed the familiar white pillar candles, their warm glow lighting the space, red rose petals scattered like a path, just as I had done for her, and she's clutching the same brightly colored flowers in her hand.
"Park Jimin," she calls out softly.
I step forward and put my coffee down, trying to fill my lungs with air.
Is this really happening?
"Tell me this isn't a dream," I utter.
"It's not. It's me reaching out. It's me humble. It's me apologizing," she says as she places herself on the ground, bowing. "It's me trying to tell you I love you too..." I hear her choke out between tears.
I rush to her, tugging her up from the ground. "I love you....I don't need any of this...I just need you. I love you," I say quickly, pressing my lips to hers as we melt together.
My hands stroke through her hair and down her back—our lips exploring each other like we've both been through a drought. I can't believe I have her back in my arms again.
"I'm so sorry...." she whispers when we break apart. Her eyes are intense, as if she is studying me.
"No, no need to be sorry. Just be mine; tell me you will be mine. Dallia , I have never strayed. I meant it when I said I belong to you," I say as I tilt her sweet lips to mine, our tongues intertwining as she presses her body into mine, and I feel whole again for the first time in as long as I can remember.
"Yes, yes, please," she whispers. "Just promise we always give each other the benefit of the doubt from now on."
"Now, and until the end of time," I whisper back, and then I scoop her up bridal style and start carrying her.
"What...what are you doing?" she asks as I manage to nudge the door handle pushing the door open, carrying her out of my workspace. As I make my way down the hallway, I notice Tae and Hobi peek their heads around the corner with wide eyes, and I chuckle.
"Gentlemen, I trust you two to blow out all those candles for us?" I call out and they come out from behind the safety of the wall nodding.
"You got it, Hyung," Tae calls out as they head toward my door.
I turn my attention back to the amazing woman in my arms as I elbow the down button on the elevator. "To answer your question, I'm bringing you to my home where we are going to eat and talk about everything. Then we will discuss boundaries and healthy expectations because I want my girlfriend back," I say quietly.
"I'm yours....Park Jimim....I'm yours...." she whispers.
The elevator door opens, and I step in. Dallia reaches out and presses the button to bring us down to the parking garage.
"Those are the sweetest words I've ever heard," I reply. "Then, when we are done speaking, I'm taking you to my bed, and I'm going to make love to you until you can't remember your name."
"Oh, Jimin," she whispers. I reach down and kiss her while she's still cradled in my arms. To feel her soft lips against mine feels like heaven, and I kiss her continuously until the elevator reaches the parking garage.
When we reach the garage, I buckle her into the passenger side of my car, and I'm thrilled to see her back where she belongs. Reaching into the center console, I take out a small drawstring bag, and she watches as I open it up and reveal her silver bracelet. "I've been carrying this with me everywhere just in case the universe brought you back to me. Immediately she presents her wrist to me, and I slide the bracelet onto her delicate skin. I lean in and press one more sweet kiss on her lips and then lift the cuff of my shirt so she can see I've been wearing mine as a sign of my love for her.
"You are my person, Dallia Kang," I whisper as I stroke the soft skin on her cheek, and it feels like I'm already home.
"You are my person, Park Jimin," she whispers back.
I start the car and put it into drive, ready to begin the rest of my life.
