Karenn and Chrome snuck into HQ in the early morning.

They entered through one of the forgotten tunnels, it was pitch black, save for their lantern that the little wolf held.

"This is so fikin cool! My gossip aquiring methods are about to change forever!" She chuckled. Chrome nervously lauged too.

"Whats the matter Cromie? You seem gloomy."

"I dont like being underground."

"Oh, well... We could talk about something to make you feel better!"

"Sure! What have you and Ash been up to?"

Ash.... Huh. "Well, he saved me from the Hunters and sent me to this place with a boy named Laurin, then he sent me to another place where they gave me the best food I've ever eaten. I staid there for a week or two, then he took me back to the temple and I've been there since!! Except for the last two days, he took me to another place because he thought I looked bored!"

"Coooool, so he's not mean to you?"

"Is he mean to you? He's really nice to me, actually."

"Sometimes he calls me a dog and I really don't like it. It's annoying. He's annoying!"

"I'm sure there's a misunderstanding. He really doesn't seem like the kind of guy to just be mean for no reason."

"Hmm, maybe you're right. Oh look, the end is there! We'll have to be quiet from now on!"

"Okie~"

...

It rained on that day too. The day he returned.

Kassvin helped him lay down in his own bed, his room was the only one on the ground floor. A missing arm. What could have happened to his poor Lana??

He took the dirty bandages off, the state of this wound is revolting. The dressings haven't been changed in days and they were covered in mud and rain.

Lance is covered in dirt and blood. His face is bruised and mutilated. Two jagged cuts run over his nose, already healing.

His nose is messed up, the cut goes right through the cartilage. He cant breathe from the swelling. The wound was stitched up, but whoever helped him didn't care if he ends up disfigured.

Kassvin ran to get the first aid kit and nearly threw up in the kitchen.

He retched, bent over the sink. His heart is in his ears. His whole body is shaking.

'Get it together. Get it together. Get it together.'

A pained groan echoed through the corridor, bring him back into reality. He got up and went back to helping Lance.

"Don't stand up! Stay there!" He pushed the man down, maybe a little too hard. "What happened to you??" He sobbed, eyes full of tears as he tore the first aid kit open and took the disinfectant out.

The wound looks bad. The prince felt nauseous looking at it. Gore reminds him of the fall of Blavió.

He was on the frontline until he literally couldn't get up anymore. Digging for bodies in the rubble. The sun didn't set. It kept burning his back as he searched and the smell was ever putrid. Rotting corpses.

He hates fire. The burnt bodies were the worst. All of them were terrible to see, but one stuck out.

After the first attack that lasted four days time the city was still burning but the soldiers left. He was the Tamdar. The people would feel safer if he was there, so he helped the people put the fire out. Someone got stuck in a house while they worked and burned alive.
