Okay so I wrote this one after talking to @Digestives05 and I'm really happy that I did! I like how this chapter ended up and I think it might actually be a few chapters until this is done after all as I'm going to write a few more filler chapters as well as the Monza race...so sorry for all the confusion!
Please enjoy, vote and comment!

"Holy shit this place is nice!" I say as I begin to explore Daniel's apartment, my nosy nature getting the better of me as I glance around the vibrant flat. Max closes the front door behind us as he chuckles at my reaction, clearly having been here plenty he begins walking through the flat with my bags. I follow him like a lost puppy, eyes wide as I take in my surroundings, a smile painted on my face. "Wow," I say simply as Max opens the door to the guest bedroom. White walls and a perfectly made bed fill the space with a white wardrobe and a few photos of Daniel and various family members dotted around. I potter round the room, opening the first door I see a modern ensuite with a shower, my eyes shining at it and I smile to myself, this felt like a proper holiday home, not just staying at my mate's house for a couple of days. I exit the bathroom and open a set of doors which open onto the balcony, I gasp at the view down to the water.
"Let me guess...wow?" Max says from behind me and I just nod slowly as I look around, realising that the balcony wrapped around the balcony that was connected to the kitchen and had some lovely outdoor furniture on it.
"The view is so nice, I know everyone says that about Monaco but it really is..." I say softly, not wanting to disrupt the silence and peace of the moment, watching the sun slowly set on the water as I overlooked the famous city. Daniel's flat is high up and so you can't really hear much of the chatter on the street, I take a step closer to the railings and peer down at the street, which is getting busier as the lights fade. I pull myself out of the moment I'm having and turn around to get Max to give me the rest of the tour. But when I turn, I'm met with a rather nice view of Max relaxing on the guest bed and I giggle to myself, shaking my head at his half-asleep figure. I softly walk over to him, reaching out a gentle hand to touch his shoulder lightly, a smile dancing on my face as I look at him. One hand behind his head, another on his stomach with one leg bent and upright while the other stretches long. I hesitate for a moment, unsure of my decision to wake him, I stand there awkwardly with my hand half outstretched not quite reaching him as I tilt my head to the side before deciding to retract my hand. I notice a blanket on the sofa in the corner of the room and go to grab it, laying it on top of the sleeping champion gently so as to not wake him before exiting the room and quietly shutting the door behind me, taking one last opportunity to take in the scene in front of me. I smile gently as I take a photo with my phone to send to Daniel before finally closing the door. I breathe out a sigh before my smile turns into a grin and I set about exploring the rest of Daniel's flat, however, I don't take too long and soon go back out to the balcony and sit on some of the furniture with a mug of decaf coffee as I take in the view before just moving to the sofa, taking off my jumper and crashing out in my shorts and sports bra, the exhaustion finally settling in as I snuggle under one of many blankets that Daniel seems to own.
I'm awoken the next morning by the smell of bacon and the sound of a sizzling pan, I flutter my eyes open and look back at the open plan kitchen to see Max cooking. I don't move an inch as I just slowly watch the Dutch driver as he moves around the kitchen, my brow furrowing as I see smoke beginning to come from the pan...which somehow he doesn't see. I roll my eyes and quickly jump up, running over to turn the hob off as I move the pan away from it on the stove, laughing to myself at Max's confusion at the speed of my actions before his eyes go back to the pan. At this point, Max's eyes have widened in shock and a frown covers his face as he looks at me guiltily.
