Nyx

We all watched as Tony flew into the portal. I feared for him.

Please survive, Tony. Please. I can't lose anyone else.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked at Steve.

"He'll make it." I looked back up.

I had my doubts. Tony had never been off this planet and I didn't know if his suit could handle it. The nuke had exploded. I didn't see Tony. I grew worried.

Please make it.

"Come on, Stark." I jumped at Nat's voice.

"Close the portal." I looked at Steve.

I shook my head.

No! No! No! I will not lose someone else.

"I'm sorry, I have to think of the citizens." I glanced up at the portal.

It closed. I looked away and grit my teeth.

Not again! This can't be happening again!

"Nyx, look." I looked up.

Tony!

He was okay! My vision blurred. My throat still hurt from earlier so I wasn't speaking. I noticed he wasn't flying. He won't make it. He's not awake!

Thor!

Thor looked at me.

Help him, please?

Thor nodded his head. He began spinning his hammer. Then Hulk appeared and caught Tony. I teleported to them. I looked at Hulk.

Are you okay?

Hulk looked at me.

"Hulk okay." I smiled with relief.

Hulk ripped Tony's mask off and then  yelled in his face. I knelt down next to him. He didn't move.

Please be okay.

"Ah," he looked around, "no one kissed me did they?"

I laughed and my vision got blurry. He was okay, I wouldn't lose anyone else not today.

No Tony, no one kissed you.

He looked at me, "we are going to have to try shawarma. It's like two blocks from here. I want to try something new."

Silly man. We can do that and more. We won and we will, but we aren't finished yet.

"We aren't finished yet, man of iron." I looked toward Stark tower.

He is right.

Loki

I was crawling away from where that beast threw me into the ground. I felt like I was being watched. I turned and found all the members that the man of iron said I had pissed off. I found Nyx behind Hawkeye. She looked terrible. I saw the bruising around her throat. It looked like she had been burned. Her eyes met mine.

I mourn for a father because of you Loki. However, that will not stop me from ensuring you live out your days appreciating Midgardian life. I will be your guard not your friend.

I could see the truth in her eyes. She would help, but she would oversee my punishment.

"Let's get him out of here." Her voice sounded rough.

She walked away.

You lost her, Loki. We warned you this is what would happen.
