Natasha

"So who went and got Banner?" I looked at the screens of all the people being brought in.

"My daughter," I looked at Coulson, "are you sure that was wise, sir?"

He chuckled.

"I do. Rogue is different. She is probably here already." I frowned.

"Isn't she from Asgard, sir? How do we know she can be trusted? Isn't this new threat an Asgardian? What if she turns her back on us, sir?" A noise sounded from behind us.

I turned and saw Agent Rogue and Bruce Banner behind me. Banner looked a little green.(See what I did there?)

"If you must know Romanoff. Then ask me, not my father. I may be Asgardian, but I was raised differently. Phil saw me for who I could be. I was there on the day Thor left Earth. I was the only one that made sure the people were safe before I began fighting. Agent Coulson saw something in me. It's how I started helping SHIELD. I will never turn my back on the people who took me in and gave me a place to be. A purpose. Anyways introductions!Romanoff, Banner. Banner, Romanoff," she turned to Coulson, "Has anyone else arrived?"

I was shell shocked. That wasn't what I was expecting. I heard a chuckle. Banner was laughing. It was my que to leave. I had to go retrieve Rogers anyway.

"Steve Rogers should arrive shortly, I was about to go out to meet him." I turned and left.

Nyx

Whoops. Clearly she doesn't like me. Oh well, we have bigger problems. She'll have to get over it eventually. If Phils dream is fulfilled we will be working side by side. I shook my head and focused on Bruce.

"Come on. I'll show you to the lab." I smiled at Bruce.

"Rogue. I need to speak with him first." I froze.

I don't trust Fury. Nyx yes, Fury no.

I turned around and waited. I bit my lip to keep from laughing. I don't think Bruce would appreciate it, well none of these people would if they knew I could hear their thoughts.

"Banner, you are an expert on gamma radiation. How do we find it? We already have cameras, phones, laptops searching for Loki and the cube." Bruce sighed.

"That's not going to work. You need to narrow your field. You need spectrometers. Call every lab, have them put them on the roof. Have them calibrate it for gamma radiation. I'll  take care of everything else." Natasha came back in with Steve Rogers.

I smiled at Steve.

"A pleasure to meet you Mr. Rogers." Romanoff stepped up to Bruce.

"C'mon I'll show you to your lab. We have all the toys you could ever need." Bruce looked at me.

I nodded my head and turned away. I watched as Steve handed money to Fury. I smiled. They could still do things like that during a difficult time. I was concerned. I hoped these people would be able to come together. I hope we could put our differences aside. I watched as Loki's picture was being used as reference on the computers.

This time is so different. Why would anyone have trading cards?

I looked over at Steve. I knew what he was feeling. I went up to him. Phil had just walked away.

"Are you alright?" He glanced at me.

"Yes, ma'am." I tilted my head.

"I may not know you, however I know what it's like to be in a place that is different. Everything is new. Things aren't what you're used to. You have so much to learn about this strange place you're in. So if you ever wish to speak with someone who knows what you're going through, please come find me," I smiled at him, "and please don't call me ma'am. Nyx is fine."

Maybe that's all I need.

"I have a 69 percent match," I glanced at Fury, "a seventy nine cross match."

"Cap, you're up." I stepped up to Fury.

"Let me go with," Fury started to shake his head, "what if his brother arrives? It is important to have a familiar face to deal with him if an issue should occur."

Fury frowned.

She's right, but I can't risk it.

"I am the only one who can fully withstand anything Thor may due to me. I'm going whether you like it or not. I have a duty. I'm going." I met Fury's gaze.

My mom would've loved this woman. She has a fire I didn't see often back then.

I smiled slightly at Steves thoughts.

"A duty to who, Rogue?" My smile fell from my face.

Again with being questioned about where my loyalties lie? I was tired of it, I pulled my hair out and I shifted. I heard Steve gasp. I was standing before Fury with silver hair and my white eyes.

"You know I do not serve Asgard anymore. I stayed behind here because I would've been killed for what I was," I changed what I looked like again, "I am here fighting for you, following your orders because of Phil, my dad. I may not be human, but I will not jeopardize what he has done for me. I get it, I have shown doubt when it comes to Loki's actions. However, I know Loki. I will do whatever it takes to stop him. Even if he ends up hating me for the rest of my life. I've lost enough because of Asgard, I'm not going to side with Loki and risk anyone else I care about. That means Clint and Phil. Do you understand, sir?" I crossed my arms over my chest.

I looked like the spitting image of Phil. We decided it would be best if I was able to look actually related to Phil so he gave me a drop of his blood. When I wasn't looking like I did on Asgard with my suit on, I had another disguise. I had Phil's hair, just longer and his eyes.

What is she?

I sighed.

"I'm going with Rogers whether you approve or not Fury." I turned.

Steve looked ready to attack. I didn't blame him, but I was growing tired of the mistrust among these people. I grit my teeth and used my magic to suit up.

"I'll be on the jet." I stormed off.

Asgardians and humans weren't different at all. Even one so sought after as the Super Soldier. I wanted to hit something, train with someone.

"Are you okay?" I spun around and saw Bruce.

I shook my head. I was far from okay.

"No, but I don't really have a choice. I don't exactly have rights on this ridiculous planet. One look at me and I'm nothing but a monster," I glanced down at the ground, "it doesn't matter. I have to go. Romanoff and Rogers are probably waiting. Stay safe Bruce."
I continued to the jet.

She's just different, not a monster.

I smiled to myself as I boarded the jet. At least I would have a friend aside from Phil.

"Romanoff, are we ready?" Rogers, Romanoff, and a copilot were on board.

"Is this everyone," I heard steps from behind me, "now it is. Let's go get ourselves a fugitive."

I saw Tony Stark in his metal suit. My heart felt heavy. I took a seat not speaking to anyone. I was ready for whatever would happen next, I had to be.
