After we arrived at the helicarrier I released Thor. I left to go search for Stark, Romanoff, Steve, and Banner. I found them in a room. The one room I told them to stay out of. The one with Loki's scepter. Fury was there as well. They were all just talking. Are they just stupid, or not want to listen?

"Stop," everyone turned to me, "are you all insane? Stark, did you even share my warning? I asked that none of you be in the room with the scepter. We need to leave the room. The scepter feeds off our emotions and distrust of one another. I don't know why we were able to capture Loki, but we were. Let's talk in a different room, please?"

Stark narrowed his eyes on me. Steve moved to leave.

"No. We aren't leaving until you give us a better explanation." I bit my lip.

We don't have time to be fighting amongst ourselves. I fear that is what Loki wants.

"I have been with shield far longer than you have Mr. Stark. It was the reason Protocol Tessa was put into place so people didn't die when Loki came to Earth using the Tesseract," I looked at Fury, "I need to show all of you something in another room anyways. Just not near the scepter."

I rushed past Thor. I went into another meeting room. There were two people there.

"Get out! OUT!" They rushed out.

I was beyond irritated. These people I had to work with were nothing like Clint. I took a seat at the head of the table. I heard the door open. I looked up. Thor was coming to me. The rest of the super humans came in including Fury.

"I'm going to speak before any of you. I do not appreciate being ignored. I come from Asgard and I know what is powering the scepter. So when I say stay away from it, it's because it will feed off of our distrust of each other. Distrust is why I lost my home. So when I came here I busted my but to prove myself here on Earth. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt," Thor put Mjolnir down in front of me,"May I use Mjolnir?"

Thor

Nyx was looking up at me waiting for my answer. I was unsure how to respond. I trusted Nyx. After everything she had been through, I had no reason to doubt her. She lost her home to return me to Asgard.

Please Thor, they won't let me near the scepter if I don't have a test subject. Let me see if I can look at Mjolnir's memories, please?

She bit her lip. This was important for her. It was important for both of us. It was the only way to ensure and prove Loki needed help.

"Go ahead." She smiled at me.

Thank you Thor.

I turned to Mjolnir and the other people in the room with me.

"I created a spell, one that will let me look at the memories of this hammer." I heard a scoff.

"As if that can happen." It was Romanoff.

I took a deep breath. Stay calm Nyx.

"I had a lot of failures, but it can. Everything has a memory. Even this table has a memory. However, objects with magical powers have more memories and a consciousness of their own," I pointed towards Mjolnir, "this will be my test."

I snapped my fingers and a scroll appeared under Mjolnir.

"You all will be able to see what I see." I took a deep breath and focused.

I needed this to work. I place my hands on either side of Mjolnir.

"Reveal what I need to see." My hands glowed purple and the table shook.

A purple mist covered the room. I saw so many flashes. Mjolnir flying towards a frost giant on Jotunheim. Mjolnir flying towards me and Thor on Midgard. The day it landed on Midgard. Earlier today when it came flying towards my shield.

Enough.

Mjolnir spoke again. It was still weird to hear. I pulled my hands away from the paper. The room cleared. I looked up to see everyone disoriented. Thor looked at me.

"That was so odd. How did you come to have this knowledge?" I smiled at Thor.

"Restricted area," he grew serious, "it's dangerous for the caster. However, I tweaked the spell. I made it safe for the caster by changing how the caster saw the memories. So instead of the memories being forced into the caster's or anyone else's mind, I made us see it in a different way. It's something on Earth called a hallucinogen. It makes us see things. So I made Mjolnir's memories into a drug with no side effects except seeing memories of the object. It is why I must see the scepter alone. The scepter is far stronger than Mjolnir, and I need to be focused. It's the only way to see the threat which hides behind the scepter."

This version of the spell would not be used for the scepter. This was for their safety. I looked at the people in the room with me. Stark was doubting me. Romanoff wasn't sure. Steve, Bruce, and Thor trusted me.

"I wouldn't jeopardize Clint or Phil. They are the two most important people to me on this planet. They are my family. I wouldn't risk their safety for Loki." Natasha stepped forward.

"She's not lying. She may not have been raised or grown up like I did, but she has lost everything. She won't risk the few people she has left." I bit my lip.

Thank you Natasha.

She looked surprised, then nodded. I left the room and headed for the scepter. I had doubts about doing this, but if I was going to save Loki I had to.
