"Really? Seriously?" Bella laughed while talking on the phone with Kaylee. Surprisingly, they got along pretty well since we visited Simone. It made me happy though. She does need girls around her age in this family to talk to like Sybil. Her reaction to the song being released in the summer is different. It's only for her own sake. I finished the eggs and bacon before putting them on three plates. Jace and Breanna were still upstairs doing god knows whom. "Kids! Breakfast!" I called loudly. Bryce visited his Mom this morning because she had the flu. That reminds me...I should check on Dad and Jasmine for the minute. It's been a while. Bella got off her phone and got off the couch. "Eggs and bacon?" She asked. I nodded. She looked at me weirdly. "What happened to the pancakes?" She asked. I fake smiled. "Having three children who can eat a whole farm." I joked but in a serious tone. Bella giggled and sat on the counter. Loud footsteps blew as my younger kids came in. Jace breathed a breath of relief. "Thank god!" He said. Breanna raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" She asked. He chuckled. "After you ate all the pancakes, least we have eggs and bacon." He joked. Bella covered her mouth to chuckle. Breanna growled. "Shut up! You eat like a pig!" She sassed. He stuck his tongue at her. I playfully rolled my eyes. "Alright! Nobody eats like pigs or anything." I said. Jace looked at me confusedly. "So Dad does?" He asked. That made Bella laugh quietly. I huffed, motioning them to sit and eat. They did so while wondering if Bryce eats like a pig. Hm, maybe so. He once gobbled down our last dinner aka KFC chicken. I went over me and Ariel's text conversation about my Bath&BodyWorks lotion product in the Bake Shop Collection. I finished the commercial and she texted the day it'll hit their stores. "Say Mom, can we visit grandpa today?" Jace asked. I snapped out of my thoughts. "Oh! Hm, yeah. I do miss seeing him." I told him. They cheered quietly. I chuckled. They're truly spoiled by their grandparents. Breanna smirked. "As long as we don't eat grandma's nasty potatoes." She whispered in his ear. I smiled. "Heard that!" I said. Bella looked down and smirked. Well, who could blame them? I decided to check on Bryce.

I looked up to see the kids finished their breakfast but Jace managed to eat the last bacon. "Let's get ready to go see grandpa and grandma!" I told them. "Whoo hoo!" They cheered, getting off the counter and heading upstairs. I was already dressed and gathered my purse. Hopefully we'd see Phil or Skip there. The kids rushed downstairs with their Nintendos except Bella. She shoved her pill bottle inside her pocket. It's necessary considering she'd have seizures anywhere and anytime. "Ready?" I asked. "Yes." We said in unison. I honked the car and we stepped out. The kids made a run for the front seat. Bella groaned irritatingly. "Get in the backseat! No! I'm the oldest!" She told them. I rolled my eyes before opening the door. Bella was officially in the front seat while the kids were in the backseat. I drove from the driveway.

Pulling up to Dad's house, I noticed there were white daises and purple lilacs in the bushes. They looked beautiful. Jasmine must've done some flower planting for spring. I texted Bryce we're visiting them. Jace raced to the doorstep and Breanna stared at the lilacs in awe. "These are so pretty! What are they?" She asked. Bella smiled, touching one. "Purple lilacs. I like them. They're kinda my favorite." She told her. My smile faded once Jace knocked two times. We waited patiently until the door opened. Dad smiled happily. "Hey! And it's the three little O'Conners!" He joked. We laughed. "Grandpa!" They said, smiling and hugged him. He hugged back. "What about your oldest?" I joked. They parted. He smirked. "My beautiful oldest." He said. We hugged and he let us inside. "Where's grandma?" Bella asked. He scoffed. "She had a rush meeting at work. Probably be back later today." He told me. I nodded as the kids flunked themselves on the couch. Dad cleared his throat abruptly. "I need to speak to you alone." He whispered in my ear. Why? What's going on? I looked at him confusedly. "Really?" I whispered. He quickly nodded. "Kids, why don't you hang in the backyard while me and Mom talk?" He asked. They nodded and went to the backyard. We sat on the couch. I inhaled a deep breath. "What's up?" I asked. Dad fiddled with his fingers nervously but taking deep breaths. Gosh, what's wrong with him? I chuckled. "Dad, tell me. It's not like you're struggling about your feelings for Rebecca or Jasmine." I said. He fake smiled. "Definitely no." He muttered. Wait a minute! I raised an eyebrow. "Dad..." I trailed off. He rubbed his hair roughly. "Ok it's true!" He admitted. My eyes widened.

I huffed. "How exactly?" I asked. He sighed. "Rebecca. We decided to have lunch together while visiting Meadow. We talked about the times we had at you and her age, our craziest times in high school and our first kiss." He explained. I looked at him in shock. "Who talks about first kisses with their exes?!" I asked frantically. He shushed me because the kids are still outside. "I'm struggling whether I still have feelings for her." He said. I facepalmed my forehead. This is bad. Whatever decision Dad make, he'll either go to Rebecca or leave Jasmine and automatically hurt our siblings. Alyssa the most. I nodded my head no. "Dad, I don't believe you have feelings for Rebecca. She's just a bunch of romantic flames from your childhood. You two were just reminiscing about your memories as kids and remembering the times you had with Meadow. Soon you'll realize you're being silly and your heart's still with Jasmine." I said. He sighed. "Lizzy-I cut him off. "High school sweethearts doesn't always work out. I fell for Bryce but we been through enough drift before we realized our true love. You and Mom gone through lots of drifting but it's worked out pretty well for both of you. Including Meadow because she has her parents still. If you think Rebecca's the one, try to remember what Jasmine has done for you." I said. His eyes widened. "I've never heard this much wisdom from my children. Especially Phil and Skip." He said. I looked down and chuckled. "Well, I'm a grown married woman." I joked. He chuckled. "So I've been told. Thank you sweetie." He said. I nodded. "I'll think about it." He told me. Phew! Thank goodness! I mentally breathed a breath of relief. The kids walked inside and Jace sighed. "Excuse Mom, can I show grandpa my Nintendo?" He asked. Breanna pouted. "Mine too!" She whined. "And I wanna watch Fast 9 with him!" Bella added. We laughed. Dad smiled, padding the left spot on the couch. "Go ahead." He said. They happily sat beside him while Bella grabs the TV remote. I couldn't help laughing.
