(Up top is her apartment)
Who would've thought? My little-whittle sweet hearted but mischievous baby sis is pregnant. The baby would be due next month or perhaps this month. Clearly, I never went to her appointments like Mom or anybody have. She told me she moved here two years ago and had an apartment. Long story short, she met someone and now she's pregnant. Her ex unfortunately wasn't ready to be a father so he left for his own choices. I've been through this exact issue so I understood what Valerie must've felt. Yet her family and friends didn't leave her alone in this. I've stayed in touch with Valerie during those two years and this year's kept both of us busy. She was planning her little family, I'm already taking care of mine. To know she chose to be a mother makes me almost emotional. I'm so relieved one of my wrapped gifts is for her beautiful children. Yup, she's having twins!!! Yay! There was many wrapped gifts for them as if she had an early Christmas baby shower. She hasn't met the kids nor Bryce is why this day's special. My whole adoptive family's spending Christmas with her, partially because Valerie can't be alone while pregnant. They helped her decorate, made her tree, in charge of cooking dinners and desserts. The kids have no clue what the baby's gender is because I want them to be surprised someday. Mom's still at Valerie's as Dad is at the hotel with Grant. We found a parking space in front of the building. Another car was parked beside us. Aka our security. Breanna smiled. "Mom! What do you think the baby's gender is?" She asked. Jace scoffed, raising an eyebrow. "If you ask me I bet it's a boy." He said. Bella chuckled. "That's no where near possible. It's obvious it's a girl. It brings another woman to the family." She disagreed. We stepped out while listening to their disagreement amusedly. "Yeah. I noticed there's loads of women in the family." He said sarcastically. Breanna looked at him in fake awe. "Does that make your manhood mad?" She teased. He fake smiled. "Does that make you shut up?" He asked sarcastically. Bella almost snickered but held her mouth. I cleared his throat. "No fighting today. Your Aunt Valerie's in a state right now and doesn't need to hear any bickering." I spoke firmly. Breanna low-key growled toward him. He smiled innocently. We entered the building and talked to the receptionist. The kids were occupied looking around. Valerie's room was two floors up so we took the elevator. Bella smirked. "What gift you got for Aunt Valerie?" She asked, referring to the present Bryce held. I chuckled. "Can't give away spoilers." I whispered. She chuckled. The doors slid open to the third floor. "Her room?" He whispered. "Room 312." I whispered in his ear. We walked in the hall before I found the room door. I rang the doorbell two times. Jace almost touched the wrapping until Breanna smacked his hand. He hissed in pain quietly. Bella rolled her eyes. "Hope she opens the door or someone will tear up this box." Bryce muttered through gritted teeth. I stomped on his foot. He hissed in pain quietly. The door revealed Mom. She gasped happily. "You're all here!" She beamed. We smiled. I cheered, hugging her. She hugged back. "How are you Mom?" I asked. "I'm very good! Come in!" She squealed. We stepped inside as our security stood behind the door. Our eyes widened, not only because of her apartment but this beautiful glowing woman with a huge baby bump. Valerie smiled widely. "Sissy!" She squealed. I returned the gesture. "Val!" I said and hugged her. She hugged back tightly. Mom greeted the kids before hugging Bryce. "It's been so so long! It's so nice to finally meet you!" She said. He laughed and handed her the present. "Same Mrs. Knoche." He said. We parted. Valerie saw the present while gasping. "Is that for my angel?" She asked. Mom smiled. "Would you like to open it? Or on Christmas?" She asked. My eyes widened. "Mom!" I whispered. She shrugged. Valerie chuckled. "Christmas Day obviously. Hopefully I've had the baby then." She told her. Breanna walked up to her. "Aunt Valerie, is it ok if I rub your bump?" She asked shyly. She looked at her in awe. "Yes! Go ahead." She said, smiling. Her hands touched the bump and her jaw dropped. "It kicked! It kicked!" She cheered. Bella smiled before putting her hands on it. "Wow! Hi little ones!" She beamed. Jace stared at them weirdly. "I'll never understand women." He mumbled. Bryce snickered, ruffling his hair. "Baby, can you help put all the gifts in the nursery?" I asked. Mom nodded. "It's right next to her room." She added. He huffed and got off the couch. "Me either." He mumbled. Jace giggled. As he walked pass me, I motioned Valerie to talk in her room. She nodded and followed behind. The kids were occupied with Mom at the moment.
