Jace helped carry my second suitcase while I carried the first downstairs. He groaned. "Gosh Mom! What do you got in these? My hands are flaming red!" He complained. I playfully rolled my eyes as we reached the last of stairs. "Baby, when you're in your twenties you'll understand if you and your lady friend go out for the weekend." I said. He set the suitcase beside the other and hummed in response. "Mom, there's more time for that later." He said, smirking. I fake gasped and playfully smacked upside his head. Jace snickered. I'm really questioning the conversations between him and Bryce is inappropriate. "We'll be back later tonight on Sunday. A very special babysitter is coming to spend the weekend with you till we come back." I told him. He cheered excitedly. "Is it Uncle Phil and Skip?! Or Uncle Vin or Uncle Luda?" He asked randomly. I almost spoke till Bryce's voice echoed through the house. "Babe! Are you ready?!" He shouted from upstairs. "Yeah!" I shouted. Bella walked down while wrapping her backpack around her shoulder. She smiled cheerily. "Have they come?" She asked, referring to her friends' car. I nodded my head no. She was leaving for a study session at their house and our chosen babysitter will be picking her up later. "I'm sure they'll be here soon. Your babysitter will be picking you up." I told her. Her eyes widened. "Babysitter?!" She blurted. Jace sighed. "Someone get me earbuds." He muttered annoyedly. I nodded. "Yeah." I said in a confused tone. Bella groaned. "Mom, I'm fifteen! I'll be turning sixteen in July. Having a babysitter is a bad idea! All my friends don't have babysitters nor nannies!" She complained. I sighed and sprayed a little Ariana Grande perfume. "You'll be fine. It's only for the weekend and besides you never complain when it's your aunts or uncles. You'll be pretty psyched when you see this person." I said, winking at the last part. She inhaled a deep breath. "Is she fun at least? Not too...stern?" She asked. Jace smiled flirtatiously. "Is she hot?" He asked. Bella rolled her eyes. I giggled and raised an eyebrow. "Pretty and too older. She's loads of fun but it doesn't mean you three can do whatever you please. You pretty much seen her before. She was at me and Dad's wedding." I told them. He nodded in understanding. Bryce came and dragged his suitcases down. "Dad, let me help!" Jace offered. "Thanks!" He said, letting him grab his first suitcase. "Where exactly are you going?" Bella asked confusedly. "If I tell you, all I'll get is 'can I come?!' 'that's not fair!' 'can we get our own suite?!'" I said. Jace and her looked at each other then back at me. "No you won't." They said in unison. Bryce low-key snickered. I shrugged and sighed. "Ok. We're going to spend the weekend in Vegas." I said. They gasped shockingly including Jace who dropped the suitcase so it rolled down. "Jace, bro!" Bryce panicked. "Vegas?! Can I come?! That's not fair! Can we get our own suite?!" They asked frantically. Just as we predicted. I'm surprised Breanna isn't here to ask the same. Where is she? I cleared my throat. "No. Where's your little sister?" I asked. "Breanna!" Bryce called. She seemed to come from the kitchen because she was eating an apple. "Yeah?" She said. Jace looked at her in shock. "You been here the whole time?" He asked. She quickly nodded. "And I knew you both were going to Vegas." She added. I raised an eyebrow curiously. "How?" I asked. Breanna smiled sheepishly. "Phone conversations are too loud." She said. They bursted into laughter. Bryce chuckled. Do I really talk loud on the phone? Unbelievable. I'll need to keep it quiet next time. I playfully rolled my eyes and smiled a little. "Alright, alright. Touché." I said. They calmed down from laughing. She shrugged. A car honked from the driveway. Bella smiled. "That's me!" She beamed. I nodded, hugging her. "Bye! Your babysitter's gonna pick you up later ok?" I said. She nodded before hugging Bryce. He hugged back. "Bye princess. Study well." He said, smiling. They parted. "Took your pill?" I asked. She nodded. I mentally breathed a breath of relief. "Bye Bella!" Jace and Breanna said in unison. She waved while opening the door and walked to their car. "Mom? Dad? Who's our babysitter?" Jace asked. I almost spoke till the doorbell ringed. It's her! She's here! That was really fast but whatever! We've got to be at the Vegas hotel soon. Bryce smirked knowingly. I smiled excitingly. "Kids, you may remember this lady from our wedding. She was also at your birthday parties. Here's your Auntie Paris!" I said before opening the door. Their eyes widened. Paris smiled happily, holding her sleep bag and necessities bag. "Hi!" She said. "Paris!" They said in unison before hugging her. She hugged back. We laughed and they parted. She gasped in disbelief. "Wow! You two are like the same height!" She said. Jace snorted. "Except I'm an inch." He said, raising a pinkie. Breanna stomped on his foot harshly. "Ow!" He whispered painfully. I rolled my eyes and checked my watch. Ooh! "Babe, we gotta go. Like for real." I told him. He nodded, lifting both suitcases. I hugged and kissed their foreheads. "Alright. Bye my sweet angels!" I said. Bryce hugged them both. "Have fun! We'll be back soon!" He said. Paris smiled sweetly. "Have a great trip guys. Bella's at her friend's house, eh?" She spoke. I nodded. "I sent you the address so you'll know where. Bye!" I said. They waved, smiling. Paris returned the gesture as we walked out the door.
