In our room, Bryce was on the phone with his Dad while I was reading a book. He's been finished working on a movie and me promoting my Bath&BodyWorks lotion. "Dad, you got to do something. You have? Really? When? Whoa." He said concernedly. I looked at him confusedly. What could be going on? He flunked himself beside me on the bed. He sighed. "Ok. For them me and Lizzy will go. Bye." He said and hung up. I placed a bookmark to save the chapter before rubbing my hair. "Everything ok?" I asked softly. Bryce rubbed his forehead frustratingly. "Things aren't at my parents's house. It's Mary and Edith." He told me. I shrugged. "What about them? Are they hurt?" I asked. He nodded his head no. "They're not too close like all sisters. Since I could remember, they never really got along much. They always fought and feud over things. Mary mainly. My parents never understood why they kept fighting badly. Sometimes Mom blame herself as if she failed being a mother. That's why Dad contacted a known therapist named Iyanla Vanzant to help with their issues." He explained. Iyanla? I've heard about her before. She's that good therapist with a TV show of helping so many families. Other people would've used their problems for ratings. I smirked and put my book on the nightstand. "He should. She's very good. One of Paris's older cousins went to her for his marriage issues. His ex-wife got told off." I said. He chuckled. "Someone's a big fan." He teased. I playfully punched his arm and pouted. "You know I like helping people too." I said. Bryce inhaled a deep breath but smiled. "Maybe we could go. They are my sisters and your sister in-laws." He said. I fiddled with my hands shyly. "Not sure baby. Of course they are except this is your family's issues- he cut me off by cupping my face. He smiled warmly. "Lizzy, you're my beautiful wife and mother of my children. You're my complete family which makes my family yours and yours mine. Anything wrong with our families includes both of us. I don't know what's wrong with our family but we're gonna figure it out. Together." He said. I returned the gesture and kissed him. What did I do to deserve a wonderful husband? He kissed back while caressing my hair. We parted. I smiled softly. "Together." I whispered. My phone buzzed. He rolled his eyes annoyedly. "Every time." He mumbled. I laughed and answered. "Hello?" I said. A familiar voice echoed through my ears. "Lizzy! It's good to hear you again!" He beamed. My brain clicked. Prince. It's been a little while since we seen each other. He once directed my music video for Love, Jace. It got emotional because the video effects were so good involving my memories with my boy. I smiled widely. "I know! How are you?" I asked. "Good! I was just calling about this concert I'm doing in my Dad's family home in Hayvenhurst. It's for my charity foundation and I was wondering if you could stop by to do a tribute performance today. If you're busy, I completely understand." He told me. It's ironic I talked about helping people then my friend calls me to do a charity concert suddenly. Life is strange but good. My brain clicked. I smiled. "I'll do it! I'll bring Jace because you know he really loves Michael's music and he would want to join." I said. He laughed. "K! It starts at 5! See ya there!" He said and hung up. "Bye!" I said, hanging up. The whole time Bryce stared curiously. "Mind telling me what was that?" He asked. I sighed happily. "Paris's brother invited me to perform a tribute in Michael's home at Hayvenhurst for his charity foundation. Also Jace is coming since he loves Michael's music." I told him. His jaw dropped, smiling. "That's cool! Honestly, I thought Jace got over his MJ phase." He said. I rolled my eyes. "After school, he always play his MJ Experience game till he showers." I said. He smiled sheepishly. "Well, guess I'll be home with my two beautiful daughters.
A daddy-daughter day." He said. I scoffed, chuckling. "Beautiful and mischievous." I joked but in a serious tone. Bryce smirked and kissed my cheek. "I'll take my chances sweet." He said confidently. "Careful what you wish for." I teased.Later, in the kitchen Jace couldn't help jumping around and moonwalking after I told him the happy news. He stopped and smiled widely. "Mom, you're the best! I can't believe I'll get to meet Prince and do a concert with you!" He beamed. I ate a spoonful of my broccoli-cheese soup. "Don't ware yourself out before we leave. Thankfully no paparazzi will be there because it's a private event. Just some of his family and some special guests." I told him. He playfully oohed. "Will it be Mark Wahlberg? Kevin Hart? Usher? Panic at the Disco? KidLaroi?" He randomly asked. I laughed. "Slow down baby! Just people Michael or his family knew best. Especially fans." I said. He shrugged. "K! I'm just excited to put on my hat and glove for it!" He said, smiling. I looked down and chuckled. My baby's too starstruck. "Is Bella and Breanna gonna come?" Jace asked. I nodded my head no. "They're staying here with Dad." I said. He breathed a breath of relief. "Good. Breanna would insult my hat and glove in the car." He said. I playfully rolled my eyes. "Be ready before 5." I said firmly. He almost spoke until Bryce came downstairs. Pink, blue and yellow streamers were tied around his head. Lots of pink glitter splatted in his hair. Jace bursted into quiet laughter. I covered my mouth in shock. When? How? And why? Bryce fake smiled. "Our little princess decided to be a hairstylist." He said through gritted teeth. I kept fighting my urge to laugh out loud. Jace kept chuckling uncontrollably. I cleared my throat. "I just have one thing to say." I said. He nodded. "Where's your tutu?" I joked. We bursted into more laughter. He tried not to roll his eyes or practically fake laugh. Jace giggled crazily. "Thank God I'm going to this concert." He giggled. I smirked. "Should I say I told you so?" I teased. Bryce nodded his head no. "I'll prove to you." He muttered.

Me and Jace arrived to Hayvenhurst. Michael's first home was so beautiful. I've always imagined of seeing it up close. Fans, family and special guests attended the concert. Jace got total starstruck watching Chris Tucker drop a few jokes. Everyone was wearing Thriller-themed outfits. Prince personally gave Jace a Thriller jacket which was so freaking kind. It is now 5:30. The time of my tribute performance. Chris cleared his throat. "I'd like y'all to meet this lovely woman who is a huge fan of the Icon to come pay a tribute to him. Give it up for Mrs. Lizzy Walker!" He announced. Everyone clapped and cheered once I walked onstage. Jace was safely backstage. Unfortunately, he couldn't join because his ankle ached. I didn't believe it until he kept saying Ow while walking. "Go Mom! Go Mom!" He cheered. I smiled happily, holding the mic. "It is incredible to be in this beautiful home where a warm-hearted man lived. He was indeed the huge light of this world. I'd like to thank Prince and his family for having me and my son here. He loves Michael like all of you. Here's one of my favorite songs by him." I said. Music began playing and I started singing Rock with You.
Girl, close your eyes
Let the rhythm get into you
Don't try to fight it
There ain't nothing that you can do
Relax your mind
Lay back and groove with mineYou gotta feel that heat
And we gonna ride the boogie
Share that beat of love
I wanna rock with you (All night)
Dance with you in the day (sunlight)
I wanna rock with you (all night)
We gon rock the night awayOut on the floor
Girl, when you dance
There's a magic that must be love
Just take it slow
Cause we got so far to goAnd when you feel that heat
And we gonna ride the boogie
Share that beat of love
I wanna rock with you (All night)
Dance with you in the day (sunlight)
I wanna rock with you (all night)
We gon rock the night awayAnd when the groove is gone
You know that love survive so we can rock foreverMusic
I wanna rock with you (All night)
Dance with you in the day (sunlight)
I wanna rock with you (all night)
Dance the night awayI wanna rock with you (All night)
Dance with you in the day (sunlight)
I wanna rock with you (all night)
We gon rock the night awayEveryone applauded. I smiled and blew a kiss. Chris joined the stage and hugged me. I hugged back. We parted. "Damn! That was lit right there!" He joked but in a serious tone. I laughed, leaving the stage. Jace tackled me in a hug. I hugged back. "Wow Mom. You are unbelievable out there. This is my first time seeing you perform." He said. We parted. I looked at him weirdly. "You went on me and Dad's tour last year." I said. He hummed in response. "Really? It felt like forever." He said dazedly. I rolled my eyes and chuckled. My little Moonwalker.
