Ink's POV

It was the next day and that means a new day of training with my teammates and best friends of my life. I was on my way to the square once again, but my phone started to ring, of course I had to pick it up. It was Rider, what a pleasant surprise!

"Yo, what's up Rider? You sleep well?" I asked him. "Yeah, you're gonna be training with your team right? If so, hope it won't be such a hassle but I wanted to check out you strategies." Rider requested, and of course I accept the offer! Maybe he'll give us some tips!

I told him we were going to meet up at Mako Mart, and I can wait to see him there. With that, I rushed towards the middle of the square. Of course, my colorful cast of friends were sitting at one of the nearby tables.

Rose looked up from her strategy book, and saw me. She shot me a warm smile. "Morning Ink, hope you slept well last night." Rose calmly spoke. "Ha ha! Hey you guys, I hope you guys don't mind, but I asked someone to help us with training today." I stuttered.

"Normally, more often than not, our strategies either work like a charm or completely bust, so having someone to basically judge us is real good for the self-esteem." Kai complained, he doesn't take criticism well, even it's constructive.

"Well, who's going to be helping us?" Issac wondered. "Just a friend... who's S+ rank... and pretty serious a lot of the time...It's Rider- There, I said it-" I finally admitted, with slight regret. I expected my teammates to go a little frantic over what I said, but nope, they were all cool and collected.

Expect Kai,
Kai was silently loosing his shit-

Rose's POV

I had a gut feeling she was going to say his name. We need the training, but it's gonna be like walking through hell, 3 times in a row. Whatever, we might as well as start heading our way to Mako Mart. "Come on guys, let's go get training" I muttered under my breath.

The 4 of them reach Mako Mart
And Rider was already there
Waiting for them

His and my eyes meet immediately, I can tell he's serious and determined just by looking at him. Whatever he's got planned, it's going to be a rough few hours. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Rider, one of the most serious S+ rankers out there, took it somewhat easy on us.

After a few grueling hours of training go by, and we were done for the day. Ink and him were talking after training, like a lot. To the point it was like it was their millionth time talking to each other. Was it their millionth time? I could ask, but I decided to keep it to myself when I walked Ink home that early evening, after she got of the train.

"So ah, you and Rider hang out a lot, don't ya?" I asked Ink; she started twirling her thumbs around one another. "Well, yeah! But not like, romantically or anything! I don't think neither of us want a romantic relationship right now, he he-" Ink responded nervously, trying not to give of the wrong idea to one of her best friends.

"You curious about something Rosie?" Ink asked in responded. I took a moment to rephrase myself in my head, so I don't sound sharp or rude. "Well, I just think it's strange that you and Rider can just talk like you've known each other for years!"

I saw Ink's ears perk up with excitement. "Yeah! I know right, it's freak deeaky dude! Maybe it's because of my mature and charming attitude!" She boasted to herself. God, I can forget how dumb and goofy she is sometimes, but I'm glad she's letting loose a bit.

We stopped in front of her house and I looked down at her. "Ehh, well, it's a small world, you two might have met in the past, just time got your heads" I mentioned before going home myself. Leaving her pondering about herself.

Ink's POV

I thought about what rose said. Maybe we did meet in the past way back when. I should probably look into that a little more. I opened the door to my house and laid my back against it, sore out of my mind.

"I'm not going to look into it now. I should get some rest"
