Annabelle opened her eyes to the annoying sound of an alarm echoing in her proximity. Before she could even grasp what was going on, her hand mindlessly went to the direction of the sound and was met with a vibrating phone. Grunting, she managed to focus her eyes good enough to see that this was definitely not her phone, judging by the wallpaper.

Oddly enough, she was able to guess whose phone it was right away, even if she didn't have that same person entangled with her body. The wallpaper was a picture of them both, hugging, with Annabelle having golden contacts in her eyes and veins drawn under them. Definitely not her best look, but Sadie's smile made the picture more than amazing. Her perfect smile, her gorgeous blue eyes, the freckles plastered on her face. Everything made her just simply perfect.

Before she realised herself, a huge smile crawled on her face, before another alarm fogged the screen and snapped her back into reality.

"Ugh." The girl besides her murmured with closed eyes, her body acting on its own and grabbing the phone, which was still held by Annabelle.

Their fingers held contact for not more than a second, but it felt like electricity shot up through Sadie's entire body, making her withdraw her hand immediately. Unbeknownst to her, Annabelle did the same and the phone fell on the blonde girl's chest, making her elicit a tiny little whine.

"Oh my God, are you okay?" Sadie sat up-straight on the sofa, her hand moving the still beeping phone immediately. Like a reflex, the alarm was turned off quickly and a sigh took its place.

"Yeah." The blonde mumbled, stretching her hands out and breathing in deeply before breathing out just as equally slow. Had she not closed her eyes, she probably would have noticed Sadie's blown pupils inspecting her movements.

"Is it photoshoot time?" The blonde mumbled, placing her hand on her eyes, pretending that it isn't 6 am.

"Yeah." Sadie brought the phone to her eyes. 6:07 am. With a huge mental sigh, that echoed in her mind so hard that Elle probably heard it, she carefully detached herself from her best friend and stood up.

"No more cuddles?" Annabelle moved her hand just enough to be able to see from her left eye and fake pouted.

Sadie reddened at that, her back thankfully turned to her best friend. It's just friendly flirting, like they always did before. She had to respond. Otherwise it would've been even more suspicious than it already was.

"Later, Love." The girl repeated Max's lines, hopeful that Annabelle would get the reference and hopefully not think anything more than that. But she started it, right? She should expect a similar answer. Right?

The response she got was a sweet chuckle, making her relax. Just friendly flirting, that's all. Like it always was.

"What was your ship name again?" The two girls turned towards the bedroom door, seeing a yawning Millie, her hair messier like she tossed and turned all night.

"A lot of people chanted Eldie at the Tonight Show." The blonde girl laughed, not acknowledging or dismissing the initial intention behind the reference. But Millie's eyes were glued on Sadie's expression. The tint of pink once again confirmed her theory, and the Redhead just rolled her eyes with a waving hand in the air.

"Eldie, hmm.." Millie brought her fingers to her chin, imitating a thinking pose that made the blonde chuckle slightly.

"Cadie all the way." Bella winked at the Redhead, earning yet another eye roll. With a laugh, she stood up and excused herself to the bathroom. She inspected her face in the mirror, her eyes having a slight red colour, like she stood glued on her phone the entire day. Which, to an extent, was correct.
