"How was it?" a very familiar to Bella brunette questioned. Not too long ago, the blonde girl was alone with her co-star, and best friend, Sadie Sink. It was supposed to be a girls' night out, featuring not only the two close friends, but also the one and only Millie Bobby Brown. But with the unfortunate events that unfolded not even 20 minutes ago, Bella had lost all will to go out. That is, unless an immense amount of alcohol was involved, so she can hopefully forget about the disaster of an interview they had beforehand.
"It was alright." Annabelle lied, joining Millie and her personal driver in the car. Sadie sat next to her with a hum, backing up her best friend's claims, although fully aware that they were untruthful.
"Jimmy and his efforts at digging out everything about us," The ginger girl waved her hand in the air, before closing the door and lowering the window. The night was quiet, with not many people outside, so she allowed herself the luxury of not hiding behind tinted windows. "He asked Elle about past relationships."
"Oh," the brunette sank in her seat with furrowed brows. Despite her co-star's secrecy on the Stranger Things set, she was well aware of the lack of relationships in her friend's life. "What did you say?"
"Sadie saved me," Annabelle shrugged, clearly uncomfortable with the topic. "But it got me thinking, why did it never happen?"
"What do you mean?" the brunette questioned, turning back from her front seat so she can look at her friends' expressions.
"I never really liked anyone that asked me out on a date. Or just any boy," the blonde girl sighed with a grunt. Of course she was familiar with the concept of just simply staying single. But that didn't justify her lack of interest towards anyone. "That's... strange."
The two other girls looked at each other, with confused expression spread all around their faces. Similar thoughts were running through their minds, but neither dared to voice them out loud. Especially not on the street, at the back of a car. It was supposed to be a fun night out, but the mood was clearly not for for that. So with not much thought, Millie grabbed her phone and texted yet another of their friends.
After awkward silence engulfed the car, Bella closed her eyes, leaning on the ginger girl next to her, before bringing up the courage to speak. "Maybe the right guy didn't show up yet."
The brunette moved her eyes with a smirk from her phone before looking at her two co-stars, being met with a flushed Sadie and relaxed Elle.
"Still in the mood for drinking?" Millie questioned, the damned smirk never leaving her face. Sadie didn't say anything, she was going to be perfectly fine with whatever her blonde friend would pick. So, she patiently waited for Bella to respond. The only answer the two girls got was a weak nod, but the brunette was willing to roll with it.
"Good," she chuckled, turning off her phone. "Because we have a little change of plans. We are going over at Caleb's and having a little get-together. Much better than some random bar."
Bella smiled at the opportunity of seeing more of her co-stars the same day. She and the younger cast mates finished their scenes, so they had a couple of days for chilling only. "Sure." she continued and once again, Sadie hummed next to them in approval.
"Drive." Millie said to her driver and he immediately followed the softly said instruction. Not before bantering with his boss, though.
"Aren't you all below 21?" he raised a brow. Of course, the man couldn't in any way stop them. Even though they were below 21, they were all above 18 and could very well decide for themselves how they want to spend their night.
"Buzz killer." Sadie laughed, the movements of her body making Bella straighten her pose. The Redhead mentally sighed with herself, but didn't allow the disappointment to make its way to her face.
