He was cut off. "Mom?! Mom are you home?" Emma jumped at the surprise of Henry's voice traveling up the stairs to where they were. Emma pulled away from Killian for the sake of Henry's innocence. Hook closed his eyes and licked his lips.

"Well I guess this is my cue." He managed a polite but disappointed smile as he stood up. "Goodnight, milady. Sleep well," he winked at her once again as she stood. She couldn't help but grin.

Hook strolled over to the stairs as Henry bounded up them. "Woah, someone's excited." He said dodging out of the way before Henry would plow him over. "Tell you what, you should really get some sleep if you want me to take you sailing tomorrow, mate!" Hook ruffled Henry's already tangled hair.

"Cool! Do I get to learn how to use a sexton yet?" Henry pleaded with his eyes.

"Of course Henry, I taught your father and I plan to teach you. I look forward to it, tiny pirate." Killian smiled down at him. "Have I ever told you that you remind me of your father?" Henry chuckled.

"You tell me every time I mention sailing"

"Aye, well, I best be off," Hook bent down to Henry's height. "Henry, bring your telescope tomorrow and meet me downstairs around eight so we can get started."

Henry smiled, "Okay," he said as Hook gently patted his shoulder.

"That's a lad." Killian gave a brief smiling nod towards Emma and without looking back, he turned and made his way down the stairs. Emma heard the door close after a couple of seconds.

"Mom, you're not going to believe this!"
Henry looked at her beaming.

"Kid, I thought you were staying at Regina's tonight." She said turning off Netflix.

"I asked out Grace from school!" He avoided the fact that he indeed was supposed to spend the night at Regina's. She had probably told Henry to spend the night at Emma's for the benefit of being alone with Robin. Emma's heart skipped a beat.

"Wait... what did you say?" Emma was baffled and turned her full attention towards Henry who was still smiling.

"You know, Grace?... The mad hatter's daughter? I asked her out on a date!" He was grinning from ear to ear. The thought of him dating terrified her. She just realized how old she was getting and that Henry was indeed 14 and able to date... with her permission of course.

"Good for you kid! How'd you ask her?" She managed a terrified smile.

"I told her I thought she looked pretty today and she said thanks so I asked her out," he exclaimed. Emma paused looking for more. Once she realized that was the whole story, she couldn't help but giggle a little.

"Wow you kids move fast," Emma mumbled.

"Did you say something mom?" Henry took a bite out of a banana and continued to look for support in her eyes.

"Nope, nothing kid, I'm proud of you Henry! When will this date happen?" She asked folding the blankets and placing them on the back of the couch.

"Tomorrow night, we're going to Granny's!" He said waiting these more from what she thought. Not knowing what to say, she changed the subject to his sleeping habits.

"If you want to go sailing tomorrow you'd better be in bed by ten." She said giving him an eye. He immediately obeyed and went to hop in the shower before climbing in bed. Once he was done showering, they both got extremely tired.

"Night Henry," Emma and Henry headed separate directions to their bedrooms. She closed the door and was about to shower when she saw something laying on her bed.
