{Killian's POV}
Hook carried Emma nine blocks to the hospital. By the fourth block, his legs started to burn. The entire nine miles, he was forced to listen to the constant complaining from Emma about how she would be "just fine" and how it was "unnecessary". He didn't care though, he could handle her argument if it meant she was okay. They reached the hospital, and A rush of relief swept over Killian. The door opened. The lobby was full of overwhelming nurses who swarmed almost instantaneously.

"What do we have here?" One shouted at him as another pushed over a wheelchair.

"Okay, this is beyond unnecessary. I think I can just walk to a room," Emma stated getting down from his grasp. She winced as three nurses helped her walk to a room. She rolled her eyes at Hook. He chuckled at the fact that she was too stubborn to use a wheelchair.

Knowing he wasn't allowed to come into the examination room, he walked over to a nurse and tried anyways. "Excuse me, darling" he breathed in his heavy pirate accent as he approached her. All he could think about was getting in that room. She looked up at him from her clipboard.

"Can.. Can I help you?" She asked blushing and pushing up her glasses. "Yes, uh well," he ran his fingers through his hair as she bit her lip. "You see," he leaned against the wall and raised an eyebrow, flashing a smile.
"My fiancé is in that room and Im really worried about her. I suppose.. maybe just this once, you could let it slip and let me in with her?" He asked the younger nurses. She looked Hook up and down as he gave her the famous "Killian smolder" batting his eyes, raising an eyebrow, and giving a dashing smile.

She blushed, "well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt anybody would it?" She opened the door for him into Emma's room.

"Thank you, milady" Killian loosely saluted her with two fingers and continued into her room.

"Charming the nurses to get in here, are you?" Emma raised an eyebrow at him jokingly.

"Anything to see that you are to be properly taken care of," he stated scooting a rolly chair at her bedside. She smiled exhaustedly at him. The door swung open, and Doctor Whale waltzed in. He glanced at Killian.

"You're not supposed to be in here, but I'll let it slide just this once. Unless we're looking at surgery, but let's hope it doesn't have to come to that." He flipped the pages on his tiny clipboard and skimmed through the information. Killian slid his hand to Emma's when she noticeably winced. She turned to face him as he ever so slightly smiled to comfort her. He was nervous. Hook's thumb stroked her hand as Doctor Whale reached for some equipment. "Okay, Emma, I'm going to use this ultrasound to look at your appendix. We can go from there, depending on what I see." He smiled at her getting the ultrasound ready.

"I thought you only use ultrasounds if you're pregnant..." Hook remarked questioning Whale.

"Ultrasounds are used to see what's going on with your organs, it's just most commonly officiated with pregnancies." What the hell was he talking about? These "twenty-first century" items confused him the most in this land. Dr. Whale got all the equipment ready and rubbed some sort of liquid onto Emma's stomach. Putting the ultra-thingy onto her abdomen, he then faced the monitor to look at her.. insides? "Well, I found your appendix, but it seems to be just fine. I'll check more organs to see what's going on," he looked puzzled. After what seemed like a century, he let out a sigh. "Well, I found your problem," he faced the monitor towards them. He pointed at a tiny dot. "That, right there is a baby. You're pregnant, Emma. Ironic isn't it?" Whale chuckled collecting his things and walking out. "I'll let you guys... talk" he said as the door shut behind him. A cold sweat broke over Killian and he couldn't move.
