{Emma's POV}
Emma opened her mouth to answer, but Killian beat her to it. "I don't know. I wasn't there," he said looking back and forth from her to Whale. Emma opened her dry mouth and told Whale the whole story of the tiny mirror, and told him of feeling dizzy.
After a couple of tests, Whale confirmed that the baby would be okay. "It's normal for mothers to bleed early in the pregnancy. Often, they think they're having a miscarriage, but I assure you it's nothing to worry about. Your baby looks very healthy."
Whale packed up all of his belongings and picked up his clipboard. "However, you fainted. Correct?" Emma nodded. "Yes, stress on the body isn't something we want to encounter at this point. The only things I highly recommend is rest, a healthy diet, and to enjoy this life changing experience." He smiled at them. "Just make sure you come back if you have any questions or problems with the pregnancy. Other than that, I'll see you back here for your 6 week checkup?"
Killian nodded, "thank you, Whale, you're a bloody lifesaver." Whale smiled and stepped out of the room. "Well, let's get you home." Killian stood.
"Excuse me? No I'm just as much part of this investigation as anyone else." Emma sat up and reached for her shirt.
"Swan, you heard Whale: you need rest. I'm going to help you through this. I'll keep you informed of everything going on, and I'll call you every time we find something new. Meanwhile, you can go home, have a salad, and spend time with Henry. I'm sure he would love that." Killian handed Emma her pants and started towards the door.
"I don't know Killian. I feel like I'm missing out and I need to protect the people of Storybrooke," she hiked up her pants and put the patient's robe on the hospital bed. Killian walked over to Emma and placed his hands on her stomach.
"And I need to protect the things that matter most in my life. That means you and the baby. So, no matter how much you fight me, you're going home and relaxing." Emma sighed. She sure as hell didn't want to, but she had to for the baby. Killian brought her chin up and quickly kissed her. "Hey, did you think of any baby names yet?" He asked lightening the mood.
"No I haven't really had time to process any of this. Have you?" She asked him.
"I kind of like Lily." He said as he took her hand and continued out the door. Emma laughed ironically. "What..?" Killian asked confused. "Is there something wrong with that name?" He asked her.
"Oh, nothing really," she laughed waving him off. " It's just... I knew a Lily... once." Emma remember her brief childhood friend and kept walking ready to go home.
