"Excuse me?" Belle looked appalled.
"Yes, I have wondered why you're helping us, Belle. He is your husband after all. How do we know you're not working for him?" Hook questioned her.
"I'm not doing this to secretly work for Rumple... I'm doing this because it's the right thing to do," she squinted at Hook and David. "Yes, I do still love him. I will always love him. But, he has done terrible things and needs to learn a lesson out of all of this. I hope there's still a flicker of the Rumple I knew and loved left and that his heart isn't all black," she shed a tear and wiped it away quickly putting her head down.
"We can trust her," Regina said lightly touching Belle's arm to comfort her. "Plus we need her. She did find the spell book after all," she said adding to her case. David nodded, and Hook glanced at Emma who nodded her head approvingly.
"I'm going to go to the library with Belle," Hook said crossing his arms and taking a step towards her. "I'd like to find a way to stop this cursed town line from destroying the people we love most," he glanced back at Emma giving her a reassuring smile and letting go of her hand strolled over to stand next to Belle. Emma didn't know how to feel about Killian treating Henry as his own. Henry would always be Neal's son. No one could ever replace Neal as Henry's father.
"Well, Emma come with me and warn the townspeople," Regina stated walking towards the stairs. Emma followed. Regina turned to say something but was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Regina?" Regina looked up the stairs.
"Robin?... Robin!" She shouted as she ran up the stairs.
"Regina!" Robin replied embracing her. A year rolled down Regina's face. "I thought I'd never see you again," she claimed burying her face in his shoulder. "Regina," he said pulling her away to look her in the eye. Everyone stood there in shock looking up the stairs at the miracle that had just arrived. "Regina, I came back. I found a way back. Rolland and Marian are staying at Granny's right now, so I can talk to you." He pulled her by the waist off to the side, out of view from the group. He pressed her against the wall and kissed her. She placed her hand gently on the back of his neck pulling him closer. They let go.
"How did you get back?" She asked him looking deeply into those enchanting eyes that she hadn't seen in ages. Another tear rolled down her cheek. Robin cupped her chin and wiped away the tear with his thumb.
"The same way Mr Gold did," he replied, "I don't know how, but Gold told me that he had broken the cursed wall; some enchantment of sorts I suppose," he smiled.
"Wait, you came back with Gold?" She asked backing away. Her eyes got big, and her heart started pounding.
"Yes, is something wrong, Regina?" He asked.
"Yes, he took my son hostage," she answered. The only response she got from him was... a smile.
