Chapter Twenty Nine: The Russian Assassins

On board the ship Gwen and the others are seated at a nearby table followed by the armed men to which soon after the bearded man, comes in with plates of food to which he then sets them down before speaking. Here good food to keep you strong it was made by our cook you can relax and eat, then when your done we can all have a little chat to see why you all are here. As Gwen thanks him for the food she is about to take a bite, but not before John stops her to which he then faces the bearded man and speaks. Hang on  a minute  how do we know that we can trust you for all we know you could have poisoned this, and you did start off my having guns pointed at us we are sharper then that. He then finishes his thoughts before the man then takes Gwen's bowl and takes a few bites, before he then claps his hands in delight before he then replies to John. Ah!!! delicious you see if I wanted you all dead then my men would have finished you in the water a big risk, we have taken bringing you on board, Hmm I suppose you all aren't hungry so now we shall talk. The man then scoots his chair closer to them to which Ashley slides her own closer to Gwen before speaking. Hang on talking is an equal ground first answer our questions just who are you all, and what are you playing at fixing our plane, serving us hot food such hospitality is a rare find these days I'm sure you are aware. As she says this the man the chuckles and slaps his forehead, before he then stands to his feet and clears his throat before he then replies. Ah! you are right and it is a rare thing indeed and my stupidity for not introducing myself  my name is Boris, and me and my men we are the Assassins of old mother Russia he said before bowing. They all had become surprised by this to which as Boris could easily see their expressions he then sits back down, in his seat before he looks them all over before speaking once again. And you all are Assassins too no doubt how do I know this? you don't carry yourselves as Templars, as such I find it fitting to let you come here to me to have a little chat don't you agree? Boris says this to which Ashley looks surprised and glances at John before Gwen then walks up to him and speaks. We are a part of the British  Assassin Order and I'll be honest I didn't think that there would be any factions left, seeing that the Templars had nearly wiped everyone out. Boris then sighs and wipes his brow before lighting a cigar to which as he does, he then looks out the window before speaking again. Yes there are not many left when the Templars rule the world they wipe us out, Again and again we fight but for what seems they finally won but eh that's how it is eh?, but enough about us now your turn why have you come out here? As Boris asks this Gwen then looks at John and Ashley to which as she does Ashley then gets up and walks towards him, before she sighs as she looks to John who nods before she speaks. We are following clues to locate the exact whereabouts of Slade Bolin the Grandmaster of our Order and they lead us here to Russia, that's why we were flying in your airspace but that's all we can say. As Ashley says that name all of the men seem to gasp and murmur amongst themselves, as Boris is slightly taken back by the mention of Slade's name to which he then speaks after a long pause. Slade Tiberius Bolin ah now that's a name that I haven't heard in a very long time and he's alive you say well now, I would have expected the Templars to have gotten him. As Boris says this Gwen is immediately shocked as she realizes that Boris knows about Slade to which she then, walks up to him and pauses for a moment  before she then speaks. My name is Gwen Bolin Slade is my father how exactly do you know of my dad have you seen him do you know where he is? Gwen asks this much to the shock of Ashley and John meanwhile Akra remains as silent as she was, when she first came in to which Boris then speaks softly. Ah! so that's why you all are out here yes I knew him Slade Bolin the toughest son of a bitch I've ever seen, he came a long time ago helped me and my comrades escape Moscow  when it was claimed by those Templar Bastards. But that was ages ago he long left and didn't say where he was going, he mostly kept to himself didn't talk to anyone and we didn't care to ask his business was his own, we figured after that the Templars must have gotten him but looks like I was wrong. As Boris concludes John then perks up a bit at hearing this tale to which Ashley then nods in agreement, To which Boris then says something to one of his men in Russian to which he then speaks again. Slade Bolin helped us out and so we shall help you to return the favor after all, any friends of Slade Bolin's is a friend of mine I will take time to fix plane we have good mechanics here. In time you are welcome aboard my vessel we have plenty of room so please make yourselves comfortable. He then says this to which he bows at them before leaving with his men, And with Boris gone the party is all that was left alone in the room to which Akra then speaks. Finally never thought he'd leave don't get me wrong he's a cheery fellow but he reeked of vodka, But I don't know guys do you trust anything that he said seems kinda fishy. Akra's question soon starts to put ideas in everyone's heads to which Ashley soon starts pacing back and forth, As John then sighs to which Gwen then is the one to break the silence by speaking. Come on guys you don't mean to tell me that you all don't believe him I mean you heard him he said that dad was here, And that he helped them escape from the Templars isn't that enough. Gwen don't you think he could have made up that story I mean isn't a coincidence that we just so happened to end up on the same ship, that Slade was on John said to which Gwen responded. Okay Yeah I know its a little sketch but why else would he have his men repair the Milano and besides you heard him, If he wanted he could have killed us in the water in fact he had many chances to kill us, don't you think that he would have taken them if he really wanted us dead I mean isn't there a Russian Assassin Order like he said? As Gwen says this John then remains quiet as he thinks to himself before Ashley, then stops pacing to which she then speaks up. Well yes there is an Assassin Order here one until now we believed to have disbanded as they lost contact with the others, Yet if Boris is telling the truth I can see why hmm Gwen may be right John why else would he be helping us? he has no reason to otherwise. As Ashley says this John then sighs before looking out the window, at the Milano being fixed to which he then speaks. Yeah I agree besides its not like we can go anywhere at the minute who knows maybe they'll be able to fix the plane really good. Yeah I agree look we can't do anything else for now so I suggest that we rest, besides I can use a break from flying we all can but lets keep an eye out just in case. With that the party all decides to hunker down for the night with the hopes that they are just one step ahead of the Templars.
