Chapter Twenty Five : Gwen Escapes

Gwen had sat sobbing in the damp and dark cell for what seemed like hours to which she then paused before speaking to herself. Have to get out of here just have too first this damn chair ugh she said struggling to break free of her bonds.  She then had sat still in an attempt to think of a plan though only grew frustrated as she spoke again. Ugh damn it okay Gwen think what would dad do? hmm not get captured in the first place ugh, She had said to herself to which she then thought of an idea. Gwen then proceeded to move her chair back and forth to which she tipped herself over with a loud clash. Breaking the chair into pieces Gwen had then struggled to stand up to which she was still bonded by her hands much to her disappointment .Leaning against the cell wall she had sat still to mediate thinking of how to break free. As she then glanced over to see some broken wall bits from where Soto had slammed Ashley into the wall to which she crawled over to the wall to examine it. Ah yes here it is a little crude true but this should do the trick she said as she picked up a sharp piece of the wall fragments. She then began cutting at the thick ropes digging into her wrists for what felt like minutes before they had finally snapped. Gwen had then breathed a sigh of relief before rubbing her wrists to which she had looked around the room as she spoke again. Now to find a way out of here um lets see the front door no too risky , the toilet hole ah no, Gwen had said looking around the room. she had moved around until she felt a breeze on her cheek which caught her off guard. Huh? what's that? wind? but where is it coming from? the wall but how hmm , she said looking around to which she saw a narrow slit in the wall. Looking at it closely Gwen saw that it was comprised of some lose stones to which she then snapped her fingers before speaking. This wall looks fragile enough to break with a little pressure Gwen had said to which she began slamming herself against the wall. Ah damn it that shit hurts but gotta get out of here gotta fight the pain Gwen said hitting it much  harder until she broke out. Ah okay  hard parts over now just have to find Ashley and get out of here and find John and Akra she said getting up and walking away from her cell. Walking around the stronghold Gwen had felt a sense of being lost until she had sat down too tired and weak from her prior torture to continue to which she blacked out. Keep moving Gwen a voice had said to which Gwen had slowly opened her eyes. I can't I'm too weak huh wait a minute who said that? she had said to which the voice had gotten fainter before speaking again. You are strong you must push on you must make it use your strength it said before vanishing.  Gwen had awakened to the sound of shouting and running to which she listened in. How has she escaped! you fool one of the guards had said to which the others had replied. We have to find her or the boss will kill us he said to which they had run off in the other direction. Gwen had then gotten up and began to sprint in the opposite direction to which she was halted by the sound of quickly approaching footsteps. Grabbing a nearby stone Gwen had prepared to attack to which she rose quickly and was stopped. Gwen! you're alright! Akra had said to which Gwen had hugged her tightly to which John arrived and patted her on the shoulder. Shh its alright Gwen we found you Akra said holding her tight. But how did you find me? I thought you wouldn't set foot in here Gwen asked to which Akra explained. John insisted we track you down though even I wasn't about to leave you in this place she said to which John looked at Gwen as he spoke. I mean yeah we couldn't leave without you kid he said to which Gwen had gotten up and hugged him to which he hugged her back. Gwen? where's Ashley Akra said to which Gwen's eyes widened. Ashley! we have to find her Soto was here and he hurt her badly they took her she said to which John rose to his feet. We know we saw him leave the compound but we have to move we'll talk more, after we get out of here with Ash now lets go John said moving with Gwen until Akra stopped them. Hold on Gwen I think you will need this Akra said handing Gwen her sword to which Gwen looked surprised. The journal please tell me yo have it too Gwen said to which Akra reached into her bag. Yep got it right here all safe and sound she said handing Gwen the book before drawing her sword. Now lets go find Ashley and get out of here shall we? Gwen said also drawing her blade before moving. With that Gwen Akra and John had all set off to rescue  Ashley and find a way to escape the Stronghold.
