Chapter Twenty Three : Gwen Meets Soto

Gwen had regained conciseness to find herself in a dark room with the dim flicker of light seeping in through the cracks of a sealed window. To which as she tried to move Gwen had found that she was restrained, in a metal chair with her hands bound together. Where am I ? Gwen said to which a dark voice spoke. You are our guest, a deep voice said to which Gwen looked around startled before calling out, Who are you! show yourself Gwen yelled to which out of the shadows came Soto to which Gwen stood silent as he spoke. So you're  the one causing all the trouble and the one who has taken out numerous amounts of my men then, He said to which Gwen had remined silent. Just then Soto had pushed a button on his wrist causing the chair to electrify Gwen causing her to grunt in extreme pain as he spoke again, Who are you to dare challenge me girl? you are no one. Soto said as he turned around and sneered before he spoke But then again who are you?, he said turning around to which Gwen looked stunned while fighting the pain. You said it yourself I am no one she said to which Soto pressed the button again sending electricity through her body causing her to further wince in pain as he replies,  You will soon learn that I can get whatever I want he said before nodding to the door. Gwen looked as a bound Ashley was thrown into the cell with her before she looked up,  Don't you dare hurt her! Ashley yelled at Soto before he threw her against the room as he spoke again. So the famous Ashley Crawford who is this girl? surely you can tell me for your freedom, Just as he said this Ashley had spit on his mask to which she snickered to which Soto produced a low growl from under his mask. If you won't speak! then you are no use to me he said before quickly walking towards Ashley as Gwen struggled,  Don't hurt her! she yelled to which Soto grabbed Ashley by her ponytail and tilted her head back before pressing a dagger to her throat. Then tell me who you are! he said looking at Gwen, No...don't  Ashley said through gritted teeth to which Soto silenced her. I am Gwen Bolin she spoke to which Soto quickly released Ashley causing  her to fall to the ground as he paused, Bolin! that name sounds familiar he said before remaining briefly silent and looking at Gwen to which she blinked. Well now So its true you are their so called daughter so tell me,  where is my disgraced former Grandmaster eh? he said to which Gwen quickly looked up. Dead! he's dead you have seen to that already, Gwen said lying to cover up that her father was still alive. Ah and so the legend has finally fallen and here you are their bastard daughter here for what purpose, I wonder he asked walking closer to her to which Gwen looked back up to face him. What purpose have I got now the Templars have wiped out all the Assassins , My parents are dead all hope is lost perhaps I just came to die she said holding her head down as he continued. Your parents were fools to challenge the Templars and they have paid the price for their arrogance but you are different , Join us child you can be of use to us to help restore peace and safety to the world to make things right Soto said to which Gwen quickly looked up. Peace! ha there has never been peace with you Templars , The world is at war and is falling apart, Families are separated, Countless lives are lost, And any who disagree with your false views are tortured or killed, Peace you all are the bringers of war, all you know is slaughter and violence  you are the problem which needs to be stopped, my parents stood against you and so shall I  she replied. Soto growled before exposing Gwen to yet another prolonged surge of electricity causing her to scream. Don't worry I won't kill you....yet girl for you still serve a purpose, I want you to be shown as an example  to the entire world that nobody messes with the Templars, That we are unmatched, And that we are the true supreme leaders not your damn Assassins , Then when the message we will make Is clear you too  will die and the last of the Bolin line will die with you daughter of Slade. Then nothing will stand in our way and no one will oppose us ever again, Soto said to which Gwen looked up as she smirked. You'll never win Soto as long as there is still the will to fight in the world you will be beaten as you always have been, She said to which Soto sneered. We shall see Bolin, we shall very well  see and as for you, This cell will be yours and you  will never see the light again. Soto said before nodding again to the door to which two men had one again knocked out Ashley, and dragged her out the cell followed by Soto before the door had shut closed. Gwen then gathered up her strength and began to try to release herself as she grunted, Ah come on dammit she said struggling to break free. I have to get out of here and rescue Ashley come on Gwen you are  a Bolin think , She said to herself before trying once again to break free. I can't do it I..... just can't Gwen said lowering her head. With that Gwen had sat still in the dark cell and had began to sob.
