Chapter Thirty Two: Unexpected Reinforcements

As Gwen slowly starts to regain conciseness the first thing that she smells is smoke to which as she tries to move, she finds that she is tied up alongside the others to which as she glances up she sees Soto who then speaks. Gwen Bolin nice to see you again I must say you've proven to be an even bigger problem then I anticipated, you have stolen something from me now where is the key? I know that you have it. However as Soto says this Gwen merely remains silent with this angering him to which he then grabs her by the throat, and lifts her up much to the anger of John who struggles against his restraints before speaking. Damn you Soto you bastard let her go your lucky I have on these restraints you damn, bloody fucking Templars don't you dare touch her I said let her go now! As John says this Soto then throws Gwen to the ground before walking over and kicking him several times in the head, to which as Gwen can only look on helpless Ashley then shouts at him. Leave him alone! you goddamn bastard if you hurt him I swear I will make you pay do you hear me! Though as Soto kicks John again knocking him to the ground he signals to one of his men, who then hits Ashley in her stomach to which as Soto walks towards Gwen he then speaks. Shut your fucking mouth all that noise now as for you girl tell me what did you do with the key? you little thief, I know that you have recovered all the pieces and now you are going to give them to me. Though as Soto says this Gwen merely spits on his mask to which  he angrily glares at her as she struggles, to get on her knees as she then looks at him  before replying through gritted teeth. I'm not afraid of you Soto, and even if I knew the location of the key I wouldn't tell you nothing not a damn thing! I don't fear you like the rest!. Soto then draws his gun and places it on Gwen's forehead to which she glares at him, as he then utters a deep laugh from under his mask to which he then speaks again. Ah I can see that you are strong girl the fire in your eyes says so but as I've said before I am stronger, as is the might of the Templars you are going to tell me where is the key is one way or another. As he says this Soto then gets up and walks over to John who was still unconscious, and then kneels next to him as he points his gun, at him before shooting John in the head much to the utter horror of the three as Ashley screams in anger. Gwen in complete shock couldn't believe her eyes as Soto then stands to his feet, as she too angrily starts screaming and thrashing around as Soto then speaks again. All of this could have been avoided if you had cooperated, for that man's blood is on your hands and now you will tell me the location of the keys or I will kill the rest of your friends. Gwen still continues to thrash around and scream angrily, as Soto then growls and walks over to Ashley and places the gun to her head as Ashley speaks. Gwen don't you tell him a fucking thing!, and you I am not afraid either if you are going to kill me then get on with it!. Soto then chambers a round as Gwen breaks free of her restraints, before she then rushes at Soto who knocks her to the ground as he then yells at her. This is your last chance girl! I will kill her your other friend, and then you! now I ask for a final time where are the keys to the vault! However as Soto is about to execute Ashley several cannon shots can be heard, which make impact with the ship rocking it violently to one side to which one of the Templars then shouts. Sir! a ship had arrived out of nowhere and has fired upon us they have knocked out our engines, the insignia on the vessel its an Assassin ship they are advancing on our position fast. However at this Gwen sees it as her opportunity to act as she then quickly gets up, and kicks the gun from Soto's hands as he then knocks her down and is prepared to strike. Though his attempt is foiled by Ashley who freed herself of her restraints who then grabs Soto by his coat and then kicks him hard, to the ground as Gwen then rushes to the window to glance at the attacking vessel as she speaks. That isn't just some Assassin ship its several incoming but that one at the head I know that ship, Its The Ranger but that can't be that's mom's flagship. Though Gwen can barely stand as Soto knocks Ashley and Akra to the ground before he starts advancing, towards her but not before another barrage of cannon fire knocks them all back. As Gwen is struggling to see through the smoke and her hazy vision she sees several unknown figures, jump in through the window and start to attack the Templars head on, to which one of them rushes over and carries her to safety as they speak. Gwen you need to leave we'll take it from here quickly, get to the Milano we'll buy you some time do you understand? Though as the figure says this Gwen then instantly recognizes their voice to which as she slowly regains her vision, she looks on in shock as the figure happens to be non other then her mother but is cut off from speaking by her before she speaks. Come on Gwen up you get listen to me you have to get out of here now, you've done well sweetheart but now The Resistance will take it from here the Milano is just outside go on now. However as Jade says this Gwen then quickly gets to her feet and hugs her to which Jade then, returns the embrace before Gwen then speaks to her again amid the cannon fire. But mom John he's, Soto he just I couldn't do anything, to stop him he's gone mom John he's gone I just. Jade then shushes her before giving Gwen her sword before she then speaks to her again. I know Gwen but you can't dwell on that now you are apart of our fight now, there will be time to grieve but now you must fight you still have a job to do, keep going and find him I know you can you are a Bolin. Though as Jade says this Soto emerges from the rubble and advances on the two as Jade then pushes her daughter aside, as the two then cross blades before Gwen is then grabbed by Ashley as Jade calls out. Ashley go! take Gwen and get out of here we'll buy you some time but go now! I'll hold him off. Though Jade remains blade locked as he then growls towards her as she then pushes him across the room, before he then mockingly bows before her as he then speaks while panting. Ah! if it isn't the esteemed Lady Bolin still alive after all this time and it appears you even saved me the trouble, of tracking you down for our little match after all first you and then your little girl. Though as Soto goes to attack her Jade merely knocks him to the ground and across the room with little effort, cracking his mask as she then draws another sword from her back before speaking to him. You will not lay another hand on her and trust me Soto this will not be much of a match, after all these years of the Templars blinding you, after all this time you still have learned nothing now pick up your blade its time for your next lesson my old apprentice. With that Soto does as she says and picks up his sword as he then rises to his feet, as Jade then readies herself to which the two then cross blades once more.
