Chapter Twenty Six : The Rescue of Ashley

As the group made their way through the corridors Gwen was desperately trying to find Ashley as Akra then whispered to her. Do you see her anywhere? this place is like a maze she said  to which Gwen stood silent  before replying. Hold on a moment I sense something over this way I can't explain it, but come on over here she said to which John and her stopped. This way follow me  I think we're close Gwen said running the opposite way followed by John and Akra. After what seemed like forever Gwen had reached a particular cell door at the end of the hall to which she took a peek inside. Looking inside the cell she saw Ashley laying on the floor with her arm chained to the wall and severely beaten as Gwen then called out . Guys over here I found her in this cell Gwen said to which they both had ran over as she continued. I need something to pick this lock anything she said to which Akra rushed over kneeling besides her as John stood watch. Here its not much but it should get that door open for you Gwen Akra said before removing a pin from her hair and giving it to her. After a few minutes of messing with the rusty lock Gwen had finally heard it click before she threw the door open. Please be alive Gwen had said to herself before rushing over to Ashley. looking over her Gwen saw that Ashley was indeed badly beaten to which she placed a hand on her cheek as Ashley produced a sharp inhale. Gwen? you're okay? you're alive but Soto he, Ashley muttered to which Gwen hugged her. Yes I'm alright come on Ashley you have to get up, we're going to get you out of here  we have help she said breaking the chain holding Ashley to the wall. Picking up Ashley Gwen carried her out the cell to which Akra held her up on the other side, to which John looking in Ashley's direction rushed over and hugged her  before looking around. Alright we got you now lets get out of  this hell hole shall we? he said to which they all had started moving. As they moved Gwen had thought if they would ever make it out the stronghold to which she glanced around. looking down the hall she saw a door to the outside to which she called for everyone to follow her. To which John rushed passed them and kicked open the doors to which he called. We're almost out lets go come on pick up the pace I got Ash. Though as they ran out they were instantly surrounded by Templar guards before the warden stepped out before speaking. Ah I see you're going to be much more of a problem then I anticipated miss Bolin the warden laughed before more guards came rushing out. At that point Ashley had regained enough strength to stand on her own to which they all stood side by side as he continued. Kill the others but the Master wants the lady Bolin alive he said to which the guards then aimed their weapons at the group. Just then a large explosion had  knocked the guards at the eastern wall of the stronghold down followed by loud shouting as the group looked on. A large band of Rebels had came pouring in the recently created hole and started to clash with the guards much to the surprise of the group. Lady Akra are you guys alright? one of the Rebels said running over to which Akra and the group rose to their feet as she spoke in shock. Lieutenant Gree? what? how? why have you come? she had asked to which he replied to her. There had been rumors that you had been apprehended by the Templar garrison and taken to the Stronghold and we have come to rescue you all and serve as a distraction while you escape Gree had said to which Akra took his hand before speaking. Thank you my dear friend I'm going to join Gwen on her quest, delay the Templars until we escape then retreat I leave the leadership of the Rebels to you in my stead Gree she said to which Gree nodded before running back into the battle as she continued. Lets go the Rebels have given us our window Akra said to which Gwen looked on. You sure they can fend them off? its a whole bunch of them Gwen asked Akra as they started running for the hole. Yes they are Rebels its what they were trained for what I trained them for, they will be fine they know the plan as we know ours now lets go Akra had said before they started running for one of the black Templar cars. You know how to hot wire this thing Gwen asked to which John nodded as they all hopped in. Hold on John had said as he began to hot wire the car to which it started after a few minutes. Alright John now lets get the hell out of here Ashley had said regaining her voice to which John had sped the car clear of the compound. With that the group had made their way back to the Millano to escape imprisonment at Templar hands.
