Chapter Eighteen : The Kingdom Approach

The Millano had landed in the water outside the Kingdom to which John gotten  out and began to install the Templar number card. Meanwhile Ashley and Gwen were inside talking about  the plan. So do have we any idea of where to find the fourth Key? Gwen asked to which Ashley sighed. Well with the American Assassin  Order destroyed we might be on our own this time she said to which Gwen looked at the handful of Keys in her hands. There Has to be somebody who will help us? ,somebody who hates the Templars as much as we do she said to which Ashley looked at her. I do suppose we'll find out when we reach the Kingdom she said to which Gwen smiled. Alright you two the number card is in , lets all hope this plan of ours works or it will be a very short trip John said climbing in. The Millano had taken off and was well on the way to the borders of the Kingdom. As they flew closer a voice came over the comm system to which they all prepared. Hold your flight speed checking number card the voice said to which the trio had begun to get nervous.Number card checks out welcome back to the Kingdom the voice said to which they all had breathed a sigh of relief. Okay  were in phew glad that worked,  So where do we start looking? Gwen asked to which Ashley spoke. We could always try the Assassin Embassy she said to which John spoke. That is if its still standing who knows what condition it could be in  he said with a smirk. Lets just hope its still standing to we can poke around a bit you know maybe we'll find something on the key Gwen said thinking positive. After another fuel stop  and a couple more hours of flying the Millano had landed near the ruins of the old Embassy. As they walked through the ruins Gwen had felt a touch of sadness as she looked around. The Embassy used to be the most advanced building in the order next to the Citadel on Syracuse , now look at it a pile of rubble Ashley said looking around. This is the true plight of the Templars they talk about peace yet they reduce anything they can touch into ashes John said in stern voice. As they walked they had finally reached the old Embassy to which it was still standing but partially destroyed. There it is lets head inside and look around Gwen said opening the old door to which it fell to the floor. I've only been here once but to see it in its state now almost makes me want to cry Ashley said looking around. When we find my father maybe we can undo all that the Templars had done she said to which John spoke. Sadly kid things may never be the same again even if we find Slade and if he manages to end all of this it will take years to recover from all of this he said to which Gwen looked at her sword. Well he won't be alone I'll be there and you and Ash, as well as mom and the Resistance we have to be. It may not be enough Gwen we may need an army to stop the Templars Ashley said to which they continued walking. As they made it to the central library Gwen had prepared to speak to which she was interrupted by a sharp pain in her neck.  Ah! what the hell Gwen pulled the object from her neck to which is was a dart to which er vision blurred.Gwen whats the matter you okay? Ashley asked to which Gwen rubbed her and looked at them. Guys I don't feel....... Gwen said before falling to the floor to which Ashley and John ran over. through her blacking vision she could see them both grasp their necks before they too fell to the ground to which voices could be heard in the distance. Who are they, how did they find us a muffled male voice said to which another spoke. I don't know but we have them now restrain them and take their weapons a muffled female voice had said. The last thing Gwen had saw were two shadows approaching them and taking their gear before she had said Slade's name before passing out.
