Chapter Twenty Eight : Landing in Russia

After a few days of flying Gwen had started to grow tired though she knew that the answers to finding her father had been in Russia, as she continued to look at the map she then started to drift off before John started speaking. Hey Ash get in here something is coming over the radio But its in Russian I can't understand it, As Ashley uncovers herself she walks past Gwen and into the cockpit to which she listens to the radio. Well.....what are they saying Ash? though as John says this Ashley shushes him before she keeps trying, to figure out what they are saying to which as Akra and Gwen peek in she replies. My Russian is a little rusty but they are saying restricted air space and for us to land, As Ashley says this John scoffs before Akra, then shakes her head as she then speaks up. Well I see no reason as to why we should land I mean we have the key leading to the vault we should keep flying, though as Akra says this the plane's engine starts smoking as Gwen then speaks, we may very well have to land anyways if we keep going we may fall out of the sky. As John nods to Ashley she then gets on the radio to inform them that they are landing to which she then replies, Alright they have given us coordinates to land on they will have a party waiting for us. Hmm I doubt it will be a party with cake and balloons I have a bad feeling about this, better hold that key close Gwen and stay alert. as John says this Gwen places the key into her backpack, as Akra then starts sharpening her swords. After a few minutes of flying they come to the coordinates as the Millano descends into the ocean, a Russian vessel comes out of the fog to which several men riding jet skis surround them, to which they then all point their guns at them as John then speaks. Well isn't this a lovely warm welcome why is it we can never go anywhere, without guns pointed at us? bloody fucking ridiculous . As Ashley shushes him a raft approaches them as a large bearded man waves before speaking in Russian, as the men then lower their guns before he speaks to them. You have trouble with plane? the man says before he points at the smoking engine John then sighs before Ashley replies to him in Russian, to which as he then waves his hand one of the men rides over to the front and starts working on the plane as he speaks. You don't look like Templar spies men will fix plane will take a while, come we go to ship fix young ones something to eat then we find out why you are here, as the man says this John then looks hesitant before he then starts speaking to them quietly. I don't like this maybe we should have just kept flying couldn't have been that far from land right? as he says this Ashley then replies to him, we should count ourselves lucky they didn't shoot us outright. look I know it seems a bit sketchy. But what other choice to we have the plane needed to be fixed, they are offering to fix it and help us we should hear them out they may be able to help us  find Slade. As she says this Akra then hides a dagger in her boot before Gwen then tucks the journal under her seat before she speaks, there is  nothing we can do now  look they are helping us so lets just stay on their good side alright? we've come too far to mess up now. With that the party have no other options, then to board the ship with the hopes that things turn out okay.
