Chapter 28

Belle's POV

Oh my god today is prom and I'm so excited. My mom said she would take the girls and I to get our nails done. We spent the whole day just relaxing and getting pampered that when we got back to the house it was time to get changed and ready to go. Liz and my mom helped, my mom did our hair and Liz did our makeup. When we were all finished we looked amazing. We were all finished and went downstairs to see my mom standing in the living room fussing over the boys and how cute they looked. Margo cleared her voice and they all turned. My mom gasped and let out a little cry. The boys walked up to us and put our corsages on our wrists. My mom looked like she was going to cry

"Mom please don't cry" I said

"I'm not gonna cry, but it's just my baby is growing up, you girls look absolutely stunning" she said

I half heartedly laughed "Thank you mom" I said

"Boys your mouths are still on the ground, mind picking them up" Mel said

"You girls look amazing" Allan complimented

"Thanks" Margo said

I looked around and Chad wasn't here, Travis saw me looking and wrapped his arms around my waist. I looked up at him and smiled "Hello there handsome" I said

"Hello there gorgeous" he said back "I'm guessing you're looking for Chad huh?" he asked

I shrugged "Yea, but it would be too good to be true that he would actually wanna go to prom" I stated

Travis chuckled "He's still going, he's just going to meet us there with his date" he said

"So you two are just buddy buddy now huh"

He breathed a laugh "Yea, I'm trying for you because you mean so much to me"

I blushed and kissed him on the cheek "Thank you babe" I said

"Well if Mr. and Mrs. Montell are finished snogging over there, we can go" Shawn said

I turned and stuck my tongue at him "Shut up" Travis let me go and I walked to the front door "Come on impatient people"

They laughed behind me and Travis wrapped his hands around my waist while we walked to the limo. We got in and the driver took us to our destination, so this year the senior class president decided to make the prom location a secret, so the day of prom they sent out the address ad we don't even know where we're going. It took 30 minutes to get to our destination. When we got out we were at the miracle garden plaza, it's a garden with the most beautiful flowers and there is a banquet hall that is really big. I'm so glad they choose this place because it is amazing. We walked inside and the whole inside of the banquet hall was so pretty with multicolored ribbons and flowers. The music was blasting and I could tell that this was going to be a great prom. The girls dragged me onto the dance floor and we danced for awhile. I got tired and sat down at a table where the boys were. Travis handed me a glass of punch

"Tired" he asked

I nodded "Oh yea" Then a slow song came on and Travis stood up holding out his hand

"May I have this dance M'lady" he asked

I giggled and took his hand "of course you can"

I stood up and he walked me to the dance floor. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he held me close to him. When the song ended. I started walking back to my seat, but stopped dead in my tracks because I saw Chad walk in with a girl, but when they got closer that wasn't any girl that was my cousin Heather, My dad and her dad are brothers, but not very close to say the least. Now I'm confused why would I be mad that Chad decided to take Heather as his date. How does he even know her. I walked over to them and when she saw me her smile faded a little

"Hey Chad, I didn't know you knew my cousin. Hey Heather" I said

"I've known Heath forever, she knows me better then anyone" he said looking at her with so much love and passion

"Oh well why would I have been upset if you were gonna take your childhood best friend and possible girlfriend" I asked

They looked at each other and then back at me "I don't wanna ruin your night with my problem sis it's ok" Chad said

I crossed my arms "How is it going to ruin my night, you know you have been very secretive lately and I haven't heard from you since you left in the tenth grade, so tell me right now what the hell is going on" I said

Travis came up from behind me "Hey guys whats going on"

"Tell me" I said to Chad

Heather sighed "Fine" she started talking and after she stopped I was a lost for words.

"So you're telling me that you two have a child together" I say and they nod. I took a deep breath "I'm not mad or upset, but you could of told me. Heather you know I'm a very understanding person" I smiled at them both

"So we didn't ruin your night" Heather asked

"Nope, I'm fine. Now have a great night you two, you deserve it" Heather gave me a hug

"Thank you Belle, I love you" she squeezed me tight

"I love you too" I breathed a laugh

She released me and took Chad's hand. I winked to him and he grinned and walked away. I turned to face Travis and he pulled me towards him by my waist

"You know you are one special girl" he said

I smiled wide "Thank you, but sometimes I don't feel that way" I shrugged

"Never not believe in yourself" he said then started breathing on my neck

He kissed my neck up to the back of my ear then my ear to my nose. He then planted a kiss on my lips

"I love you, you know that right" he said

I laughed "Of course I do and I love you too"

I took him by the hand and walked back to the dance floor and we dance the night away. This honestly has been the best time I have ever had
