Travis's POV
Monday
When I woke up today I felt so refreshed, I don't know how to put it, but I felt good. I got out of bed and got in the shower, When I got I put on some khaki shorts and a red t-shirt. I put my shoes on and walked downstairs, I got a bagel and sat down and ate it. Jackson walked in 5 minutes later
"Good morning" I said
"Morning?" he said slowly "What happened Friday?" he eyed me
"We went to the teen club and let me tell you that she is a great dancer, then I drove her back home" I said
"Did you kiss her" I nodded "So it's official you asked her to be your girlfriend" I nodded again
He smirked, I rolled my eyes and got up "Lets go it's time for school"
He shook his head "Since when did you like school" I shrugged
He laughed and walked out of the kitchen. I followed and we got in the car, once we were at school he said bye and I walked to my locker. I was putting my books away, when I felt someone hug me I turned around to see Izzy. I smiled at her she gave me a kiss on the cheek and I saw two guys snickering at us
"Whats wrong" Isabelle asked
I looked at her "Nothing, Uhh I got to go, I'll see you later" I said quickly and walked off
Isabelle's POV
That was strange, Travis is acting funny and I think I know why. He still thinking about his reputation, I sighed and walked to my locker. I saw Shawn and Mel standing there, they looked at me
"Where's Travis?" Mel asked
I shrugged "He said he had to do something" I said looking at the ground
"That's bull he should be here with you" she said
The bell rung and we walked to class, I sat in my seat and Mel put her hand on my shoulder. I slightly smiled and then Travis walked in, I looked at my notebook and didn't even look up. Class was the same as always I did my work and that's it. When the bell rung for next period. I got up and started walking to my locker, Mel walked off with Shawn to their class. I put my books in my locker and when I closed it Travis was standing right there, I just walked to my class
"Wait Isabelle" he said grabbing my arm
"What Travis, what could you possibly want from me" I said feeling my throat close with tears
"I'm sorry, I ran off this morning. I just need some time" he said, I scoffed
"Time, how much time Travis because as long as we go to school you're only gonna be thinking about yourself, so until you realize that there's more to life than yourself I'm not dating you" I said as serious as ever
He gaped at me and I just shook my head and walked to my class...
The after school bell rung and I got my stuff, I waited by my locker for Liz. I had to tell her I was trying out for the cheer team. I saw her walking with Jackson
"Hey sis" she said
"Hey, do you think you can get a ride from Jackson" I said
"Sure why?" she asked
"I'm trying out for the cheer squad" she smiled and hugged me
"That's great Belle, good luck" she said
"Thanks, see you at home" she nodded and walked off with Jackson
I walked to the locker room and changed, then I walked out to the field. Mel told me to come around 4:00, I looked at my phone and it was 3:56. I saw them practicing and I walked over and sat down on the bench, I watched as they did a routine that I've seen Mel do a million times
"Hey Isabelle, come do the dance with us" Mel said
"Are you sure" I asked, she nodded
I smiled and danced with them.We finished and got some water, I sat on the grass with Mel. She looked at me
"Why are you staring at me" I asked
"What happened this morning" she said, I looked at the grass
"Nothing" I said quietly
"It must have been something, now what is it" I sighed
"Travis is ashamed that I'm his girlfriend, so I told him once he figures out what he wants I'm not dating him" I said and she put her hand on my shoulder
"Do you want me to talk to him" she asked, I shook my head no "Well you can't get depressed on me now" she said, I giggled
"Ok, but what am I gonna do" I said putting my head in my hands
"I think I know" I look up to see Margo seating next to me
"And whats that" I asked, she smiled wickedly
"I bet he will be drooling over you once you get a makeover" she said, Mel and I looked at each other
"Are you sure Margo, that always doesn't work" Mel said, I nodded agreeing
"It will" She said "How about this, we have a sleepover at your house Friday and we'll see, please" She said
"Ok, but whatever you do don't touch my hair" I warned, she nodded and cheered
"Great, oh and you made the squad, congrats" she said, I hugged her and she walked off
Mel and I both squealed "Yayy I'm happy for you" Mel said jumping up and down
I laughed at her silliness, she was jumping up and down till Shawn walked over to us
"Why is she happy this time" he asked, she stopped jumping
"I can't be happy" she asked pouting
"No no baby you can be happy all you want" he said, she hugged him and kissed him "So whats up" he asked after they let go
"Belle made the cheer squad" Mel said
"Congrats" he said, I smiled
"Thanks, I should get home. I still have homework to do " I said
They waved bye and I walked to my car with my bag. Once I got home my mom was in the kitchen with my dad, I gave them a kiss on the cheek and sat down
"Izzy how was school" my dad asked
"It was good, I made the cheer squad" I said, my mom squealed
"That's great sweetie" She said
I smiled and got up and walked upstairs, I did my homework and ate, then I got some pj's on and climbed in the bed. I thought of what Margo said made me wonder maybe it'll be a good experience. I don't know and with those thoughts running through my head I fell asleep
