Chapter 29

Belle's POV

Graduation, the time where you finally get to say goodbye to the life that you had in high school. It was bittersweet having been through what I've been through in high school. I made new friends, got a boyfriend and my worst enemy is now like a brother to me, so all in all I'd have to say in one word for my experience it would be crazy.

I was standing in front of my mirror looking at myself in my cap and gown. I can't believe this is happening I finally get to say i did it, I survived high school

"Isa come on we're leaving" my dad said from downstairs

"I'm coming" I said back

I looked at myself one more time and ran downstairs. My mom and dad smiled at me, then we all got in the car and off to the school one last time. When we got there I ran off to meet everyone. I found them and ran into Travis's back wrapping my arms around him. I felt the vibration of his back as he laughed then turned around. He picked me up and spun me around

"We did it" he said as he put me back down on the ground

"I know, I'm so happy and sad at the same time, I'm happy because we're finally graduating, but I'm sad because what if none of us stay together" I said looking at the ground

He tipped my chin up and I looked at him "that's not gonna happen, we all started this journey together and we're all going to stay together, no matter if we have kids, get married or just move states there is no way that none of us will be apart" he said

I leaned up and kissed him then wrapped my arms around him, he put his chin on my head and we stayed like that

"Hey you two come on or you're gonna miss your own graduation" Heather said

We pulled apart and Travis took my hand in his and we walked over to stand in line. The ceremony started and we all waited to get our diplomas. Shawn became the valedictorian of our class, it was for me but I know that Shawn deserved it. When all of our names were called and we went back to our seats the principal congratulated us all, we turned our tassels to the other side of our caps and that was it we had official graduated.

We all got to our parents and they congratulated us. We all decided it would be nice to go out and celebrate, so I went back to the house with my parents and changed out of my cap and gown then put on a nice dress. I decided to pull my curly hair up into a ponytail and put on a little makeup. I met my parents along with Eli and Liz downstairs. We all walked to the car and drove to the restaurant that we were all going to meet at.

I was talking on the phone with Travis, Liz was playing peekaboo with Eli and my parents were having their own mini conversation. My dad had stopped at a red light and waited for the light to turn green and once it did and he pulled out into the intersection. I turned to my side of the window and saw headlights coming right towards the car and they weren't stopping. I let out a scream and it was soon cut off by the sound of crunching metal to metal. It was like everything was going in slow motion, one minute I'm going to my graduation dinner; now the car is tumbling like tumbleweed down the road. The rolling stopped and I was slowly losing consciences because of the severe pain in my head and in my arm, then everything just went black

Travis POV

When I heard Izzy scream into the phone I thought she was yelling at me, then I heard her drop the phone followed by a large bang. Now I'm no genius, but I think that Izzy and her family got into a car accident and a pretty bad one at that. I kept yelling into the phone to see if she was still there, but nothing happened. I was already at the restaurant and everyone else was too, we were just waiting on Izzy. Shawn walked over to me

"Hey bro, what's wrong?" I looked at him

"I think Izzy has been in a car accident" I said

Shawn's eyes got big and he grabbed his keys off the table "Come on, we're going to go find them" he said

I nodded solemnly and started following him out "Hey I'm coming too" Chad said

Shawn nodded in agreement and we all rushed to Shawn's car. He drove down the main road and we looked to see anything. I looked up ahead and saw siren lights and an ambulance. I told Shawn to pull up by the corner and when he did I jumped out of the car and ran over to the scene. I passed all the people to see Izzy's car totaled and on it's side; having the drivers side down on the ground.

I ran to the paramedic to see Liz being lifted onto it, she had scratches on her arms, but I don't know if she broke something, then Eli was put in next to her, she looked fine because of her car seat in the car. I looked into the second ambulance and Izzy was being put onto it. Her eyes were closed and she looked like she was barely breathing. I ran over to her and the paramedics trying pushing me off

"No, please she's my girlfriend" I said looking down at her

They let me go and I placed my hand in hers, she was cold. One of the paramedics walked over to me, but I wasn't really paying him no attention "Son, we have to get her to the hospital, if you wanna ride with her hop on" he said

I did just that. I got on the ambulance and held Izzy's hand all the way while the paramedics checked her out

"She has a mild concussion and a broken arm, but she'll survive" one of them said

I released a breath I didn't even know I was holding, but the air got suck back out because I didn't know about the rest of the family. We got to the hospital and they wheeled her into the emergency. I was going to go with them but I was stopped by a nurse. She told I couldn't go in there and was to wait for the doctor to tell me what's going on, so I sat down in a chair for a second before I was pacing back and forth. Shawn had went back to the restaurant and told everyone what happened. He texted me saying that they would be there in a minute, but I wasn't concerned if he was coming or not. I just wanted Izzy and her family to be ok. Shawn and them walked in and sat down. I couldn't sit from all the anxiety I was going through, so I walked and walked until the doors of the emergency hall opened where the doctor walked out with blood on him. I rushed over to him

"So Doc what's the news on Isabelle and her family? Are they alright?" I asked staring him down

He looked into my eyes and gave a sad, sympathetic smile "Son...."
