Brooke's POV:

I wake up with a groan to find that I'm strapped to a metal table, my arms and legs held by restraints as a group of Kraang-droids overlook me from the sidelines.

Kraang: "The DNA that belongs to the other April clones is lacking, Kraang. Kraang needs more real O'Neil DNA. Welcome, '8-R-0-0-K-3', to the purpose Kraang created you for."

Me: "I could just give you some hair or something. That has DNA. Besides, I'm only half O'Neil."

Kraang: "That is correct. But this is far more entertaining to Kraang, and half-O'Neil DNA is still O'Neil DNA."

As the needle above me gets closer, I writhe around in my restraints when Raph appears and sticks his sai in the needle's system.

Me: *sighs* "We have to stop running into each other like this."

Raph: "I don't know. It's nice being the one to save your shell for once."

Raph leaps to the ground, knocking down a few droids until the rest hold him back from behind.

Raph: *growls* "Let me go!"

Me: "Raph!"

The droids pin him to the ground, forcing him to watch as the needle gets closer.

Raph: "Brooke!"

Kraang: "Do not struggle. the one called 'Brooke' will soon expire."

Ok, this worked 11 years ago. What could go wrong now? I summon every ounce of strength to summon my power, forcing the needle to freeze in its path as the Kraang-droids fall to the ground. Raph stands up from underneath them, breaks through my restraints, and leads me to the others with my arm wrapped over his shoulders.

Raph: "You all right, babe?"

Me: "Brain on fire, ready to pop. Other than that, I'm fantastic."

Raph chuckles as the others rush towards us with relieved looks.

April: "Hey, little sis."

I smile when alarms start going off. We rush into another room when a group of April clones drags April away from us. It takes a while, but April slices through one of the clones with her tessen and gets into a defensive stance. Once that's settled, we destroy the rest of the clones and rush out of the building. One of the Kraang vans pulls up to us, but the wind rolls down to reveal Kurtzman in the driver's seat. We hop in through the back and drive off toward Kurtzman's home.

Leo: "Thanks for the save, Mr. Kurtzman."

Kurtzman: "I owed you one. So, did you wipe out the Kraang computers?"

Donnie: "We did, by the skin of our noses."

Raph: "The only reason we survived is because of April & Brooke. Whatever you did back there, saved us all."

April: "I have no clue what we did. For me, I was freaking out, and then-Zap! The clones were toast."

Me: "Yeah. I don't know all the details, but the only other time I've done that was when I first escaped TCRI in that pod."

Kurtzman pulls up into an abandoned alleyway.

Kurtzman: "You walk from here. Well, I'm off. Somebody's gotta keep an eye on the Kraang. They're everywhere! If you ever need my expertise, you know where to find me."

Kurtzman drives off into the night while we head for the nearest manhole cover.

{Time skip}

Donnie analyzes a sample of my and April's DNA.

Leo: "Well? What'd you find out, Donnie?"

Donnie: "This doesn't seem possible."

April: "What is it?"

Me: "What's wrong?"

Donnie: "Based on all the info I've pulled from the clone lab, your cellular makeup is actually a morphogenesic blend of human and Kraang DNA."

April: "Wait, are you saying-"

Donnie: "You're not entirely human, girls. That's why you have psychic powers. In fact, you're both half-human, half-alien mutants."

Turtles, April, & I: "Mutants?!"
