The world around me didn't exist, it was just the mirror and I. It was almost like it never existed in the first place. My reflection was staring deeply into me, The demon inside beckoned me closer to her, and I step into the mirror.

"What th-"

I cut myself off, with everything else that had happened to me, was this really a surprise?

My eyes took a while to adjust to the darkness and I was suddenly transported in a world of emptiness. Endless void, I turn around to see that the mirror opening had disappeared. I felt trapped for a moment, but ignored the rising panic in my chest.

"Who am I?"

I shout into the darkness, I hear my voice echoing... It was kind of foolish to ask for I already knew the answer. Reficul, Giant red letters appear in front of me. I snort

"Tell me something I don't know."

A strong wind blows, almost pushing me away, I stand my ground stubbornly.

"I don't have all day you know."

Suddenly the void disappears and I am falling from the sky. The thrill of falling was tickling my stomach and I couldn't help but laugh. I was falling so fast I would surely die when I landed.

In the beginning there was darkness, the universe was black and cold.

I hear this being whispered into my ear.

I'm sure you already knew this story, right?

I laugh loudly. "Of course, who doesn't?"

My beautiful long golden hair flails violently with the fall. It's wrong.

"Wh-?"

Giant black wings spur out of my back, lifting me into the air, I almost looked like a crow.

I grin to myself and softly land into a lovely meadow. I hear screaming from the sky and as I look up, there are hundreds of people falling from the sky. I stare in horror as they hit the ground like rain, they explode into millions of pieces. Completely shattered and mangled up, splat splat splat. The whole meadow reeked of death and I wrinkled my nose out of instinct.

When God kicked the angels from Heaven, you were the only one who survived. You took the the other fallen angels' wings and devoured their souls. In this universe you became Satan.

I blink and stare at the carcasses who slowly began melting into the earth.

"Why would I do that?" I felt a bitter sublimation start to rise up in my chest and I was ashamed. Maybe Lucifer and I were more similar than I had hoped for. To escape Hell, you tricked God into trapping all the others before yourself. This is what makes you different from Lucifer. You never became imprisoned in Hell. I stare sadly at the innocent angels now trapped because of me.

"I'm a monster..."

I start to tear up.

Not exactly, you just knew how to survive. I hear weeping and hysterical crying and I walk towards it. I see a young girl with long white hair and gown cowering and trembling in the middle of the meadow. She's barefoot.

My eyes widen "Xiomara?!"

The girl stares at me with terrified eyes and she scrambles to her feet to run away into the forest.

"Wait!"

I chase after her and she screams in fear, turning into a wolf pup, running faster.

You are the opposite of Lucifer, this is why you complete each other. Unlike him you loved others and wanted to take care of them. Though you argued with God over the existence of humans, you ended up possessing a caring heart and actually ended up helping lots of people in your spare time. Even when everybody hated you, you saved Xiomara. Eventually the white pup had trapped herself in a dead end and I had cornered her. High pitched whimpering escapes from her muzzle and she is human again, covering her face.
