This was absolutely insane. So many bizarre things were happening to me. So much time had passed also, it was already becoming nightfall. I was pretty scared of the dark so I decided I should try to make my back into the mansion. Laying around in this clearing wasn't going to fix anything and I'll admit that I was pretty disappointed Leo hadn't found me yet. I thought he was so strict on making sure I never escaped from him, and I had escaped without even trying. It was too easy and it just felt.... Disappointing. Maybe he wasn't as obsessed with me as I thought. Walking around aimlessly I could feel the fear building up in my chest at the thought of what Leo would do to me, would he defile me again? Maybe it wasn't the best idea to come back home, he would be mad for sure. I feel wet moisture drip from the sky suddenly. Crap, is it really going to rain now? I start to run but the rain decides picks up pace as well and before I know it I am completely soaked and shivering violently. I was now completely lost, frustrated, cold, and hungry. I continue running aimlessly when my foot gets caught in a log. I fall face first into the forest floor and I decide that I'd just die there. Just how bad was my luck, seriously?

"Anna?"

A broken whisper appears behind me. I get up instantly, I'm saved! Finally I can eat some warm food and hot tea, I was practically drooling before I noticed the dark shadow before me.

"Leo?"

I mumble,

"Sorry for running away, I got lost and couldn't find my way back."

I admitted.

"Is that so?"

His voice is ice cold, yikes, not a good sign. He steps out from the darkness and his eyes are a bright red, he looked utterly inhuman.

"Huh?"

I step back, bewildered that he looked like the Leo in the clearing now.

Taking a better look at him now he had such a big presence now. Two large horns sticking out of his head, black and intimidating. An overwhelming amount of power was pouring from his aura. He was terrifying. His clothes were soaked in blood and looking closely at his hands I can see a beating heart of some animal. To his side was the beautiful wolf, soaked in her own blood, gasping for air.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!"

I scream impulsively, all traces of teasing gone from my voice.

"SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG YOU DEMON!"

I launch myself at him and steal the warm heart from him.

No response, he allows me to do this, watching me in a curious way. His hand falls limply to his side and he looks up into the sky, the rain pouring onto him. Stuttering and stumbling I fall before the wolf placing the heart back into her body. To my pleasure, the wound instantly repairs itself, a look of thanks bestowed in her, she runs off in fear of being attacked again.

"What did I tell you about killing my friends?"

I spit bitterly.

"She means a lot to me you know?"

I find myself saying without any control whatsoever.

His eyes widen and I can hear his heartbeat increase.

"Let's go home..."

I ignore his appearance and slump over on him, I was too tired to even question it. He smiles weakly and nods, lifting me in his arms.

We were flying through the air, I couldn't even explain it, that's how fast he ran through the trees. It was like he was some sort of vampire. In an instant we were back at the mansion, back into my room as a matter of fact. Leo had returned to his normal state, it was almost like tonight had never happened to begin with. Leo kisses my head.

"Please stop forsaking me, just stay with me a moment Annalina."

His voice was simply tired, it was almost like he had given up already. He tucks me in and heads for the door.

"Hey."

I call out, he pauses for a moment.

"Goodnight, Lucifer."
