Xiomara fell into a coma after that. It was unsure what was going to happen but Leo had said she was in stable conditions and should wake up eventually. I found myself sitting beside her everyday, watching her in her deep slumber. She was my only friend in this world now that Sal and Lucius were dead, I was scared that she too would die. Sal seemed to completely loathe me at this point and Lucius appeared less and less over time. I was lonely. The walls in Xio's room were a light blue now, with snow gently falling on the flowers engraved in it. It was so beautiful and I regret saying that her room was devoid of personality. It was in fact, gentle, like her. I place my hand in hers and rest my head on the bed. I slept there many nights waiting for her to waken. There was so much I didn't understand about her, I wanted to know more.

"You just going to sit around here forever now?"

Leo interrupts my thoughts, his arms crossed over his chest, eyes full of nothingness. I stare up at him and sigh.

"There's nothing else for me to do."

I lay on the floor, clearly bored. He kneels down beside me.

"She'll be okay, so why not do something fun?"

His voice is calm and collected.

"Like what?"

I sit up, watching the snowflakes fall.

"How about we go on a date?"

He grins.

"No Thanks!"

I get up and leave the room. He was the last person I ever wanted to go on a date with.

Lucifer stares with his mouth wide open In complete shock. I sigh and wander around the mansion, humming to myself. Life was boring and sad, I wondered why anyone would want to be immortal when there was never anything to do.

"Reficul."

Leo's hand is on my shoulder.

"What?"

His breath was now on my neck.

"Don't deny me."

I shiver delicately and his wings envelope me, holding me to him.

"Can't we go on a date another time? I'm not feeling it right now."

My voice is annoyed. I wish he would leave me alone.

"But I ammm~."

In that instant I was being dragged across the hall, upstairs to the attic.

"Wow, how romantic am I supposed to be a prisoner or something?"

I was seriously not in the mood for his games. He cracks up.

"As if I'd do something so horrific to you."

My eyebrows raise. Really? This is the same guy who killed my human family, caused Xiomara to be in such horrid conditions, and worse than that he violated me on countless occasions. Leo sees the sarcasm on my face and smiles sheepishly.

"You know what I mean."

He purrs.

In the middle of the attic there was a gramophone and a lovely rug. To be honest it almost looked like a living room, not much of an attic. There was also a large window, with a small engraving in the panel that said "R + L". I wrinkle my nose and pretend I hadn't seen it.

"Let us dance."

Leo claps his hands and we are illuminated in candlelight, and a golden chandelier appears, he is now dressed in a suit, and his hair is well groomed. His horns shining in the dim light. He was very proud of his being, almost never appearing human in front of me anymore. I look down to see that I was now in a lovely blue ball gown, my hair was in braids, and little blue ribbons were perfectly resting in the crevasses. White lace elegantly resting on the sleeves and ends of the dress. It was very beautiful that I could not deny. The demon extends his hand to me.

"May I?"

My face is flushed and I nod. I wasn't allowed to say no so let's just get this over with.

"Alright."

The gramophone starts playing by itself, and it starts playing eerie music box music. We began dancing slowly and he delicately twirled me to the beat of the music. I giggle and let him lead on. We dance like this for a long time, chatting casually about our favorite things, the past, the future, everything. The music suddenly stops and I hug him.

"I wish you could always be like this."

My braids come undone, and my hair is now curly and messy. When he was like this, it was easy to delude myself that the good parts of him were real. I wished they were.

He pets me.

"What do you mean dear? I always love you."

His voice is innocent. I laugh and press my face in his chest, he laughs back and we fall on the floor laughing. I lay on him and close my eyes.

"I wish things could always be like this."

He whispered.

"Me too."

We stare into each other's eyes and smile. His eyes are sad and he holds me close to him. I don't understand him at all. I began to want to get close to him and yearned for him. I hated how badly I missed him even if I hated him. We regrettably spent the night together.
