44.) Doomsday

  "Ellie." Hunter whispers against her sleeve on her shoulder.

  It's now five in the morning and all they've done is talk for hours on end. He showed her around his place in the castle. It's nice but it doesn't feel like him. They lay together on his bed with their arms around each other. Hunter kissing wherever he can because he knows she's his again. Because that's the other thing they've been doing. Just kissing and talking. Nothing Eda would assume if she walked in.

  "Hunter." She whispers back with a wide smile.

  "I'm yours, I'll never stop being yours." He says before kissing her lips again. "You aren't invisible to me."

  "I don't want you leave you, I can't leave you again." She tells him as his eyes look into hers like he's never seen anyone else's before.

  "I know you're trying. And even if you do have to go, I got closure. I know now that it wasn't my fault you left." He assures her. He's just saying that to comfort her though. He can't picture  world where he really means that he would be okay with her leaving again. Not after tonight, not after he's spent hours looking into her eyes and falling in love with her all over again. She's his girl, she always has been.

  "It wasn't, it really wasn't. I didn't know you felt like that or else I wouldn't have left so soon. You're the only person who's ever made me feel so comfortable about everything." She says as her hands fall to his hair.

  It's more grown out than it used to be but it's perfect. She doesn't care about anything else that happened. Ellie just knows that he's the only one she wants and has ever wanted. All he can think about in this moment is how he never wants her hands to leave his hair. He wants her forever tangled in his arms, hair, and where ever else she wants. Hunter knows he has to let go of her soon so he holds her closer and fights the urge to kiss her again.

  "I really did used to hate you though. When we first met. But that all changed so quickly." He laughs.

  "I know. It took a while to get that heart open." She snickers and places her finger where his heart is.

  "It's commendable that you did it. The only one. It's all for your eyes only." He smiles wider than ever as they both move. She lays on her back with him sitting up on his elbow to see her. His other arm lazily drapes across her waist as her hands stay in his hair.

  "You're gonna make me vomit." She laughs.

  "Can I have at least one more day of being cheesy? I just got you back." He jokes. "Anyways, any good movies come out in the human realm?"

  "Dude, Harry Styles started acting not long after we left the human realm." She tells him and he gasps.

  "Is he any good?" He asks, completely interested in the answer.

  "Surprisingly, yeah. And you know how I explained the whole Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian thing?" She asks.

  "Vaguely but yeah."

  "They broke up after nine months! Crazy, right?" She laughs. "But get this, Pete had just gotten a tattoo having to do with her."

  "That is crazy. Celebrities in the human realm are really weird." He laughs with her. "So, was that really the end of Amphibia? Or was there a spin-off show?"

  "That was the end. But they released Marcy's Journal. But nothing about Sashannarcy which is obviously canon. I don't care if they never say it, it's real in my heart." She jokes.

  "Just say you can't pick a ship and move on." He teases.

  "Fine, whatever." She tries to act annoyed but with him looking at her like that, she just smiles.
