TURNS OUT SNAPE wasn't trying to steal the stone it was professor Quirriel after all, News spread fast about what happened beneath the school around all the students which consisted of many people saying thank you very awkwardly to the first years.
Harry had returned from defeating Quirriel and was still lying in the hospital recovering, Hope visited him waiting for him to wake up but it was the next day when Hope got told that Harry was awake and talking to Dumbledore so she ran to go tell Hermione and Ron and they decided to go meet him before the end of year feast.
Hope, Hermione and Ron were talking when Hope noticed Harry come out of the Hospital wing now dressed in his school robes making them stop their conversation and smile at him
"All right there, Ron?" Harry asked him with a small smile,
" All right You?" Ron replies, Harry shrugs his shoulders
"All right Hermione?" Hermione smiles at Him
"Never better" He looks at Hope
"Hope?" she shrugs her shoulders, "bit hungry, should we head to the feast?" Ron's face lit up
"yes we should" and he hurries down the stairs to Harry. Hope and Hermione chuckle and Hope links their arms
"come on Mione" she said before walking to the great hall.

Sitting in their houses the great hall is decorated for Slytherin house as they had won the house cup. everyone was eating the food, professor McGonagall stands tapping her spoon on her glass to grab the attention of the students, Dumbledore stands up and begins his end of year speech.
"Another year gone! And now, as I understand it, the house cup needs awarded and the points stand thus In fourth place Gryffindor, with 312 points!" Hope couldn't help but cringe at the sad round of applause
"In third place Hufflepuff, with 352 points" Hope clapped with the rest of the houses
"Second Ravenclaw, with 426 points" many of the students cheered for their house
"And in first place, with 522 points Slytherin house" the uproar of proud Slytherin students filled the hall and Hope rolled her eyes at the Slytherin's cocky behaviour.
"Yes well done Slytherin, well done Slytherin" Dumbeldore said "However recent events must be taken into account and I have a few last minute points to award"
Hope shared a look with Harry hoping he was talking about what went down under the school.
"To Miss Hermione Granger, for the cool use of intellect while others were in grave peril, fifty points!" Hermione blushed and smiled as the students clapped for her and Hope squeezed her hand under the table,
"Second to Mr Ronald Weasley, for the best played game of chess that Hogwarts has seen these many years, fifty points" Ron smiles around at his friend and fred clasps him on the shoulder,
"Third to Miss Hope Lupin-Black for helping a friend in need, and her exceptional talent in solving puzzles, fifty points!" Hope smiled at the students applauding her and laughed slightly at the scowl on Snape's face,
"fourthly to Mr Harry Potter for pure love and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor house, sixty points!" the Gryffindors cheer loudly this time and even McGonagall is smiling for her house.
"We're tied with Slytherin" Hermione whispers to them
"And finally, it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. I award ten points to Neville Longbottom!" Neville looks shocked and the Gryffindors cheer the loudest for him
"Assuming that my calculations are correct, I believe that a change of decoration is in order!" he claps his hands and the decorations change from the Slytherin colours to the Gryffindor colours and all the house (apart from Slytherin) clap for Gryffindor.
"Gryffindor wins the House Cup!"

It was the end of the year and all the students were going home. Hagrid was making sure they all were on the train safely, Hagrid shouted at the remaining students trying to round up the remaining students not on the train.
Hope hands Rogers cage to the people loading up the train before walking up to Hermione, The two girls wave to Hagrid who waves back "come on Harry" Hermione said noticing how he wasn't getting on the train
"one minute" Harry said to them before running off to Hagrid.
They watch as Hagrid hands him a red book, he hugs Hagrid and comes back to Ron, Hermione and Hope
"Feels strange to be going home, doesn't it?" Hermione asks him
"I'm not going home. Not really" He says and Hope smiles at him, the train whistles and they all climb aboard ready to go home and hopefully not have to deal with anything too threatening for the summer.
