SUMMER WAS NEARLY OVER. Hope and Remus had decided to meet up with the Weasleys and Harry in Diagon Alley to do the shopping altogether. Remus and Hope were about to walk into Flourish and Blotts when the voice of Molly Weasley rang through their ears "Remus, Hope!" she shouted beckoning them over to the side of the shop.
Molly grabbed Hope's face in her hands squeezing her cheeks lightly "look at you, you've grown up since I saw you last" Hope blushed
"it was only a couple of weeks ago Molly" she laughed, Molly kissed her head before turning to Remus
"Remus how are you?" she asked "very well Molly, how are you" he asked tucking his hands into the pockets of his trousers
"I'm good" she grabbed Remus's arm pulling him over to where Arthur was talking with Hermione's parents no doubt about the muggle world
"let me tell you what the boys got up to last night" she shot the twins and Ron a look as she walked past making Hope smirk. as they were walking away Remus looked at Hope over his shoulder she just shot him an innocent smile.
"where's Harry and Hermione?" Hope asked looking around for them "well..." Ron said rubbing the back of his neck as Hope raised her eyebrows at him silently asking him to keep talking
"we kind of travelled by floo and Harry might have gotten lost" he mumbled the last part "lost?" Hope shouted at him "Hermione's looking for him promise" he was quick to defend himself "Please don't hit me" he added.
Hope rolled her eyes "I wasn't going to hit you Ron" Ginny came up to them clearly hearing the conversation
"you should hit him" she said folding her arms over her chest
"I'm not going to" she deadpanned "well if Harry's lying dead somewhere I might" she added making Ron cringe and back away.
Hope turned her attention to Ginny "How are you Ginny? nervous?" she asked the smaller girl
"not really" she mumbled "I just hope I get put in Gryffindor" Hope smiled
"Ginny, you'll be in Gryffindor no doubt about it" she reassured her making Ginny smile.
"Oh Harry" Hope heard Molly say "Thank goodness, We hoped you'd only gone one grate too far" Molly fussed over him trying to get the soot off him
"Harry!" Hope said running to him and throwing her arms around him "I'm glad your ok" Harry smiled and returned the hug Hope let go and went over to hug Hermione,
"where did you end up anyway?" Ron asked
"Knockturn Alley" and Hope's eyes widened she heard the twins mutter a 'wicked' and her eyes bore into Harry's
"well it's a good thing you're not dead" she said sternly "it's a good thing Hagrid found me" he countered making Hope laugh.
Remus approached his daughter placing his hand on her shoulder "we're going-" but he cut himself off when he saw Harry's face. The colour drained from Remus' face and his eyes softened at the sight of Harry. Hope looked up at her father,
"Dad this is Harry" she said softly before turning to Harry "Harry, this is Remus Lupin" Remus gave a soft smile and held his hand out for Harry to shake
